Very Powerful Editing Software
I find that Aurora HDR is a very, very powerful editing software specifically designed for editing HDR style photos typically of landscapes, cities, interior/property photography. It is so incredibly powerful, that I am finding I usually only need to work with one raw file at a time. Editing with 3 or more works fine, but sometimes it's so powerful the HDR image without any editing is so overblown it looks crazy. How crazy? Well, like a Radcliff photo, that's how crazy. I have been experimenting with up to 5 bracketed photos of a scene and it's just too strong, even when you don't apply any editing. I have learned that working with one or 3 bracketed photos is more than plenty. I am using primarily a Nikon d800, and sometimes my Nikon d700.I am also using Adobe Lightroom 6 that I purchased 2-3 years ago. The two programs are totally different from each other. Since Aurora HDR doesn't let you stick together photos for panoramas, I still have to use Lightroom to stitch photos together and then I can edit that in Aurora. Aurora also doesn't let you edit out dust spots, so again, I have to bring up Lightrooom. When it comes to landscape photography, I am using Aurora HDR 2019 almost exclusively. It works so well!!! For street photography, I just edit in Lightroom 6.I am reading of some complaints with the program when using Windows 10. I am using a high end gaming laptop with 32 gigs of ram, i7 9750H, Nvidia 2060 with 6 cores. Not bad and I would not want to be using anything less to be honest. The program on Windows 10 has some quirks and is sometimes a bit slow, even with what I have. There doesn't seem to be any updates as of yet. Using layers and masking layers in Aurora HDR 2019 can sometimes cause the program to freeze or become totally unresponsive. So constant saving is a must as you edit files. Skylum needs to pay more attention to Windows users and get those updates to fix several minor problems. The Good:--Extremely powerful HDR editing software.--Will be valid for many years to come--photos retain MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better structure during editing that Lightroom; photos don't seem to fall or tear apart from overly editing.--uploading and editing old photos from crappy cameras (in RAW) is a joy!The Bad:-- High end gaming PC/laptop recommended.--Needs regular updates to fix quirks ( which are not available at least for Windows 10)--Needs weeks of playing around with to find your comfort zone.--Needs stitching option for Panoramas.--Needs ability to edit out dust spots from stopped down images.

Best there is.......
Looking for a program to unlock the potential of HDR? This is the one. Robust, an extensive list of options, a plethora of presets, and yet the granular control an experienced veteran would look for. Image quality is great. Interface is intuitive. Love it.

Download Issues
Can’t download. Had to send an email to tech support because the verification code does not work. Therefore, not recommending because this should’ve been an easy three step process and it is already proving to be a days long process as I need to wait for a response from tech support.

Good computer skills are helpful.
I am just a casual photographer and not very computer proficient. If I were better with using the computer I probably would have given it 5 stars but even with my limited abilities, it's been a fun learning process and I have gotten some good results. So certainly a good product and I am happy with the purchase.

Not a box disc sale, it's a download.Not happy.
A great software, marketed as if it was a box sale but that was a hoax. You have to download it. They send you a key to activate it.

Bad experience...
Wouldn't operate with my new computer. I had the download key in hand and it wouldn't work... Customer service isn't very good on a Sunday either.
