NATIERRA Nature's All Foods Organic Freeze-Dried Blueberries | Non-GMO & Vegan | 1.2 Ounce

I follow the Specific Carb Diet, so I only eat sugars that naturally occur in fruit and honey. With no added sugars in my diet, it makes fruit seem particularly sweet, so I find these freeze-dried blueberries to be a wonderful dessert option or a fantastic sweet snack. Also, I have to cook/prepare almost everything myself that I eat (very few convenience foods are an option on this diet). It's so nice to have a snack that doesn't require any preparation. My big problem is that it's too easy to eat the entire bag in one sitting. I highly recommend these (and the Trader Joe's version as well) as an easy food to have on hand.

These are very yummy, but seem to be largely air (as freeze dried food usually is) so you don't actually feel like there is a lot in each bag for the price. Nutritionally, you are getting the equivalent of nine ounces of organic blueberries, a super-food high in antioxidants. We find that we can eat the whole bag in one or two sittings. They turn your tongue blue, and you need to be sure you eat them carefully not to turn anything else blue. All in all, these are delicious, fresh and crunchy, very sweet . . . a wonderful snack.

Found flavor too tart To eat out of the bag or use as a topping on ice cream or cereal. But they add the perfect true blueberry flavor to muffins & pancakes. Great price & the resealable bag keeps the product fresh.

I bought these to add extra blueberry to my muffins and it ended up working out much better than I'd hoped: fresh blueberries tend to sink to the bottom (even if you coat them in flour) while these stay put and float to the top. The result was delicious muffins PACKED with blueberries and flavor. B.c these do taste a bit better than the fresh ones for baking (and eating in general). I'll make blueberry goods no other way now and my advice to the baking folk is to not skimp on these, throw the whole bag in there. Maybe two. More is indeed better in this case

I don’t understand the positive reviews at all for this product. I purchased the blueberries and although they arrived looking great - whole unbroken cute little things they are horribly bitter with no sweetness or blueberry flavor that I can detect all all just overwhelming bitterness. I will be throwing these away. NOTE: I posted this review with one star and I am adjusting it to 3 because despite the bitterness I went back for more because the reviews were so good I just didn’t understand it. Turns out some of the blueberries were horribly bitter but many were actually mildly sweet although not very flavorful. So my original review needed editing because they were not all inedible.

These are the tiniest, most shriveled, least sweet freeze dried blueberries I have ever had. These are literally miniscule blueberries, most smaller than the size of petite frozen peas. They are bitter, chewy, and quite unpleasant to eat. They don't have the usual crispness of most freeze dried fruit I've had. That is not weeks after opening. That's after initially opening the bag! I am very disappointed that Amazon has stopped carrying Homegrown Organic Farms brand freeze dried blueberries. That brand's blueberries were large, crisp, and sweet. Natierra's blueberries don't hold a candle to Homegrown Organic Farms' blueberries. I will never buy Natierra freeze dried fruit again. I counted on using these on my cereal. I am disappointed. You couldn't pay me to eat these.

Although Amazon doesn't carry this brand anymore I think freeze-dried fruits are the best especially if you use them for camping or where refrigeration isn't an option

My friends and I hiked 9 miles to Conundrum Springs in Colorado and camped 3 nights up there. I bought 1 bag of dehydrated blueberries and everyone loved it. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it's organic and dehydrated, (so you get a lot). We mixed it in our trail mix and also mixed it in our morning oatmeal and it was a very pleasant part of our trip. We also bought the dehydrated organic raspberries which were amazing! Best of luck!!!
