Not for big fish
They are ok

Good for medium duty bass gear
Not meant for musky or extra heavy equipment. They work great when fishing water that has musky and you might catch one accidentally. I use these on lighter bass equipment so I don't lose expensive lures as often.

Not quite what I expected
Well, I can say they are strong, but I’m unsure about durability. The manufacturer claims it can be used in salt or fresh water, so why do they rust after one use? Granted, washing of your gear after getting home should be performed but if you forget then be prepared to install a new one each time. It rusted pretty badly within a week from salt water use, after storing the rods. There is no high humidity in my home, certainly not enough to cause the level of corrosion found. So advice, rinse off everything before storage. I haven’t tried fresh water fishing yet, to determine if it’s just salt corrosion, but this is not durable enough to handle sea exposure.
