ATG by Wrangler Men's Long Sleeve Mixed Material Shirt

I’ve ordered a lot of these kinds of quick drying safari style shirts from other companies on Amazon, and this one by ATG Wrangler actually fits perfectly. I’m 5’11, 180lbs, 44 chest and bought a large, which is my natural size. Most quick dry safari style shirts I’ve bought on Amazon I’ve returned because they’re gigantic, but this shirt almost feels taylor-made while still allowing for athletic movement and venting for hot days. Why can’t other less expensive brands get these right? The shirt feels light weight the way this style should feel, and it doesn’t run too long the way some shirts hang way down to your thighs. Looks great untucked. Do be aware that the rolled up sleeve feature secures around your forearm and not above your elbow. The pictures do show this, but it’s worth thinking about. Also, the attachment to the button using the roll up sleeve feature is a little elastic loop that I imagine might stretch out over time (we’ll see) as opposed to using fabric and a button like many other shirt varieties employ. The pockets are well sized for storing phones or other equipment, and the chest zipper pocket (the whole reason I bought this) is discreet and very large, which is awesome.

I continue to be pleasantly surprised with the wrangler ATG gear given its price point and quality. Extremely solid shirts. Used them on a four day hunt that entailed a ton of walking. Performed extremely well. Breathable, practical and comfortable. Instead of paying for expensive upland gear do yourself a favor and get three of these shirts for the price of one of the influencer brands. Only gripe is that the button to convert from long sleeve to short sleeve is almost more on the forearm so you’ll get a 3/4 sleeve feel rather than a short sleeve. To get a full short sleeve you need to roll it pretty tight which kinda defeats the purpose of the button. But minor gripe.

The shirt overall is a great fit, I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the inside zipper pocket is worthless the thing is HUGE AND WEIRD SHAPED; anything you put in that pocket including a cell phone will end up way under your arm and caddy wampus and a PITA to carry and/or remove. I fixed it with iron-on hem tape so that my fell rides high and tight. Whoever designed this pocket should be fired - it sucks. If you're not into an EDC pocket this shirt is a nice garment. If I figure out how to stitch it instead of tape it, I'll edit this review. I think I can do it with a curved needle but it's a tight space. Also note this material is "the wrinkle look" it is the super casual loose fit too.

This fit great and is true to size. I needed a light weight shirt to wear in the summer to scout corn fields and this delivered. It's light enough to keep me cool while being strong enough to keep the corn rash off of me. I've even been able to wear it out after work without looking like ive worked in it all day.

I’m a dad. I don’t like to iron clothes. I hate tucking in long sleeve shirts unless I’m going to the office. I like to work outside sometimes or go hiking and I hate mosquitos and I’m not a huge fan of bug spray. Let me first say I love this shirt because I can do these things with this shirt, no problem. I don’t need to tuck in the shirt. It somehow maintains its shape without being heavy or stiff. And I can roll up the sleeves and unroll with ease. But here is where it gets interesting. I also wore this shirt on a date with my wife. She was very impressed with the shirt and asked me where I got it. I also went on a cross country flight and I received a complement about the shirt from the flight attendant. Yes these are anecdotes so take that with a grain of salt. But the point I’m trying to make is that a) I’m not fashion conscious person (I just don’t want to look like a slob if I can help it) and b) this shirt is very versatile and functional. Versatile and functional are two magical words that a man approaching his 50’s likes to hear. I was originally a little skeptical about the dual color scheme. It reminded of something from the 1990s. But it works and it doesn’t stand out. All in all a great shirt. I am 6 foot, 185-90 lbs with an athletic build. It fits great.

I love this shirt! It is very breathable especially for field work. The color is very nice and has not faded. Quality is fantastic, I live in the south, even in 90+ days with high humidity I felt that this shirt was great for keeping the sun off me while not being too hot. Awesome value, just as good as some higher brand names like PFG.

I am shocked by how great this shirt is! I wear Columbia PFG or HUK shirts of the same style daily for work. My expectations weren’t that high but since it was on sale I gave it a shot and I couldn’t believe that it’s actually superior to the more expensive brands in the material quality, fit, breathability, moisture wicking, and even the comfort against your skin while being active! The color is a great neutral shade that can fit in on days I have to go by the office, but still durable enough to handle wearing in the field under even the worst site conditions. I’m definitely going to be adding some more colors to my work attire, couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised with this purchase.

The big negative for me is that the arms are too small. I bought a large because of my belly. Otherwise I would be a medium. Yet if I try to roll up the sleeves, it is like a tourniquet on my biceps. I don't know who these shirts are made for, but if a large man bought a large size shirt, he would either lose an arm due to lack of circulation or bust out the seams. Buy a size or two larger than you think you need. Otherwise, I actually love the shirt. Lightweight. Folds up into a tiny area. Giant pockets on the chest. It drys quickly and is breathable.

Excellent hiking shirt at a decent price. I usually buy size Large and I did so for this shirt which was a tad too big - more space under the arms and wider than my usual large. Nonetheless it might be useful when hiking

Me ha gustado más que las camisas Columbia que he tenido. La tela es cómoda para el verano, y también cubre lo suficiente para clima fresco. Compre una segunda pieza para regalarla y también le gustó mucho al cumpleañero.

Se ve de buena calidad, solo un poco reducida en media, pide una extra para que quede holgada.

I wore this shirt for 7 days on a canoe trip and it is pretty much the only thing I needed. Nice length to the sleeves and appears to be sturdy enough for when things get a bit sketchy in the backcountry. Would definitely buy another one.
