I AM BACK TO BUY MORE!
Update: We have only one bottle of powder left, so I'm reordering. I still have my grand-dog, Gus, on this supplement, and he is still running and chasing the ball during play time. My son is a firm believer in this product, and so am I. I have my younger female dogs on it as well. It is costly, but when I consider eventual vet bills that might be prevented if dogs have this stuff all their lives, I prefer to keep them healthy now so we can avoid some of the absurdly expensive health issues later in life. I can't seem to leave a vet's office without a three-hundred-dollar bill, and that is for basically nothing. Anything serious can be one or two thousand or much higher. It strikes me as being smarter to try to prevent serious issues for as long as we can, and in the meantime, our three dogs are happy, healthy, and enjoying a good playtime with the ball every day. At mealtime, they don't hesitate to eat, and if we didn't get all the powder mixed in well with their food, they lick the bowls clean, getting every last bit of the supplement. After eating, they circle around to see if another dog left any traces of anything in the bowl, and if one misses some of this supplement powder, they lick it up. So it doesn't taste icky to my dogs. I researched the ingredients and am thinking about finding a human version of this stuff. I think the company has done a stellar job of researching what will actually help our dogs--and I know there are human supplements, made of approximately the same stuff, that reviewers rave about. I'm 76, but who knows? If I get the same nutrients, maybe I'll be more energetic as well and help chase that darned ball! First post: I got this, despite the price, just to see. My son has a seven-year-old Aussie who was no longer wanting to chase the ball, who stood back and just didn't seem to care about playing anymore with our two younger dogs. It was so sad to see! He is still so young. I remembered reading about Critical Immune Defense and seeing good reviews. So, despite the cost, I decided to order some. I gave my grand-dog, Gus, his three scoops (he's a larger dog than my girls, so they only get two) on his food per meal for three days. (I did mention to my son that I was doing so. It is his dog, after all.) So we sailed along for three days, and all of a sudden, my grand-dog, Gus, began bursting forward to chase the ball and play. He was like a puppy again, all excited and racing around. It made my heart swell, because I was thinking, "That Stuff is actually Working!" My son said nothing. So, I thought, okay, fine. I can do without spending all that money on snake poison, even though I believed I was seeing a huge change in my grand-dog, Gus. My thought was, "I saw a placebo effect. I convinced myself, so I believed in the hype." My son didn't mention seeing a difference. So, hello, the stuff is expensive. I decided not to buy anymore. I'm not an idiot. So a few days later, my son calls. (We live on the same property, so our dogs all eat together.) "Mom, are you still giving Gus his supplement?" I thought I had messed up, because I wasn't giving him anything. I was, like, WHAT supplement? My son was, like, that stuff that started making him play like a puppy again! He was very upset that I had stopped giving his dog the CID. He would have been eagerly willing to continue the supplement at his own cost and trouble! The difference in the dog was huge. I popped back, saying that he'd never said a word about how it changed Gus. Why would I continue giving it to him? The stuff is costly! (I hope the company can shave away at their overhead to reduce the cost of product. ) Bottom line, this stuff DOES work! It isn't about buying it and only thinking it works. It truly does, and our Gus is suddenly running and playing like a much younger dog. It has given him a new lease on life. I have decided to also give it to my two younger dogs, hopefully as a preventative supplement. And, hello, I'm researching to find a human-grade supplement with mostly the same ingredients. I could stand a boost energy to make me feel better, too!

Shocked and pleased.
My dog had liver surgery in March for tumors that turned out to be benign , but that had been causing pressure on a major blood vessel . He had been having many lumps and bumps so I decided to try this. It seemed to have good ingredients. I also add some cordyceps, and sometimes extra milk thistle or turkey tail with probiotics. Even so, I wasn't expecting much. He had long had a huge lipoma and several other little lumps that had been needle biopsied. The combo was chosen as much for recoverysupport as for any expectation of lipoma healing. But I was pretty regular with it for three months, and his largest lipoma is probably 1/4 the size that it had been. Like from large grapefruit to golfball cut in two and layed flat-side down. I was so not expecting that, that I didn't even notice it going down. It completely shocked me when I saw that. I asked AI about it. At first AI told me it could be a sign if a non-lipoma, but when I mentioned that it had been needle aspirated and biopsied it reconsidered . AI ascribes the change to fluid reduction and improved fat metabolism, combined with the recovered blood flow from the surgical internal tumor removal. Says it is good supportive therapy - enough to improve fat metabolism and diminish fluid build-up in the area of a lipoma, but probably hasn't affected the underlying condition. I don't know because am not a medical researcher, but there have been studies out of the University of Pennsylvania indicating longer canine cancer survival with turkey tail. Not sure if anyone knows the complete real answer, but even reducing stagnant fluid build up and metabolizing better seem worthwhile it to me. So now I am enough of a believer that I have bought extra bottles to share with a couple friends whose dogs have problems. Whatever the mechanism, it certainly isn't making him worse. If anything better. Not only will I buy again, but I subscribed. Sold.

It works, lasts for awhile, will purchase again!
Used this product about 6 months ago sprinkling jus 1/3rd of the scooper it comes with into one of my stray cats food bowls twice a day. This product dramatically changed the stray cats appearance.. The cat was skinny an had respiratory issues along with mange an missing furr.. Now he looks like a spoiled house cat! Fat n full of shiney furr an healthy! I recommend this product to anyone who feeds strays, jus mix 1/3rd the scooper into dry or wet food consistently an watch the cats transform into healthy cats with in 3 months!

Good but Pricey
This product works well for my lab, but it’s pricey for the amount you receive.

This supplement saved my dog's life.
This supplement literally saved my dog. He became lethargic and not himself. Upon a vet visit, he was diagnosed with a spleenic mass. We were told the only options were surgery or euthanasia. Knowing the surgery would be risky as an elderly dog and not accepting the other option, I had done my research on this supplement and bought it. Within days, he was back to himself. His coat changed and was healthy and odor free. His energy returned. Another vet visit to see if the mass has shrunken will be done soon.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR DOGS LIFE…DO NOT BUY!!
I never write reviews but Milky my Bichon Poodle almost died. After I sprinkled this product on his food, he refused to eat it. I coaxed him into eating, not realizing the danger. The next morning, he usually jumps down from my bed, but this time he was whining and needed help. When I placed him on the floor, he couldn’t walk—he couldn’t even stand on his own. I lifted him up, and he began limping across the floor. From what I could tell, only one leg was really working. Panicked, I began to pray over him olive oil mix with 2 drops of oil of oregano with black seed and gave him plenty of water to flush the product out of his system. I’m currently unemployed and was praying we wouldn’t have to go to the vet. The whole reason I bought this product was to avoid a vet visit as a preventative measure. He’s 15 yrs, but other than some possible dental issues, he’s generally fine. That entire day, he struggled to walk, limping and needing help up and down the stairs. It was a mess. I even called my pastor, who prayed for him over the phone. Then, late in the night, I heard him jump off the bed. Thank God! The next day, he was doing much better and could walk again—still a little unsteady, but by the evening, it was like nothing had happened. He was back to running around as usual. Stay clear of this stuff! I went back and read the one-star reviews, and I saw that two dogs had died after using this product. If I had seen those reviews earlier, I never would have bought it. Of course there’s no refund. If your dog refuses to eat something, trust them. Do not push it. I’m so blessed he made it through.

At 12 and still going strong!
My now 12 year old mix breed (corgi, pitty, and beagle) is still very vibrant and active. He’s been on this for maybe 2 years now. I get comments about how active he still is. Now I know a lot is about genes and his parent (me), but this stuff seems to work well. And it’s not insanely overpriced like everything out there. Give this a try for a few months, my baby boy likes it.

My dog seemed not to mind the taste/smell
I started using this product after my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma...unfortunately, after two and a half months the cancer had spread throughout her body...I'm not sure if I believe the testimonials with people saying it helped their pet fight cancer, allowing them to live for many years....I'll give 3 stars for the fact seem didn't seemed to mind the taste/smell when mixed with her food.....R.I.P. Cynder 🙏🏼💔
