Xvive U4 In-Ear Monitor: A Solid Wireless Performer
Xvive U4 In-Ear Monitor: A Wireless Wonder Purchased: 16/02/24 I’ve been using the Xvive U4 In-Ear Monitor system for several months now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. As a musician who values clear sound and wireless freedom, this system has exceeded my expectations. The audio quality is exceptional. I can hear every nuance of my performance with clarity and precision. The battery life is fantastic, easily lasting through multiple rehearsals and even longer gigs without needing a recharge. Setup is a breeze, and the included accessories are thoughtful and practical. The wireless range is impressive, allowing me to move freely on stage without worrying about signal dropouts. The build quality feels solid, and the included carrying case keeps everything protected. Overall, the Xvive U4 is an outstanding in-ear monitor system that offers exceptional value for money. I highly recommend it to any musician looking to enhance their performance.

Brilliant item, purchased to replace old.
Replaced a unit which turned out to have a faulty transmitter, shame you can’t buy one part, but price was better than used and it’s new. No complaints.

Wifi and Interference
Managed to use this for the first time at a show last night. I didn't get chance to test before hand so was going in full of faith that everything would go nice and smooth. Audio: Crystal clear! If you have ever used a wired headphone amp this sounded just as clear. There was no noise other than the sound of the instruments/mics being sent to my own personal mix. Wifi: Probably something you have googled the most. We were in a room with roughly 100 audience members. All recording taking pictures and I'm guessing their phones were bouncing round in the WiFi range band. The venue also had their own WiFi running and we had a WiFi router on stage to connect to our mixer to control our own in ear mixes. We did have a WiFi drop out. But this was from my laptop to the venue WiFi for an Internet connection to play background music from a streaming service. This only happened when the Xvive was turned on. Knowing this I decided to run a cable from the output to my mic stand and this is where I positioned the Xvive transmitter. This was plenty of distance from our own router so we could still mix our in ears without any drop outs. For the whole show I didn't experience any audio dropouts to my in ears and with a thought out positioning of the Xvive Transmitter everything ran smoothly. We have our own rack unit splitter that sits on stage so running an extra xlr to my mic stand isn't an issue. If your only option is to have your transmitter in the front of house desk this could be a little more awkward if the sound engineer isn't accommodating. If you are totally self contained I shouldn't see too many issues. Very pleased with my purchase!

Excellent
I have several of these which are used by singers & musicians in my band & also for solo singers. Very easy to use, reliable . You do need to stay fairly close to the receiver so not ideal if you are playing massive stages. I’ve never had any issues & use regularly. My only niggle is the lack of battery life indicator & the leads are a little fiddly to plug in sometimes when charging. Excellent little gadgets making iem affordable

Great in ear monitors
Was having trouble hearing my vocal in noisy band with floor monitor, which would feedback when set to a volume I could hear. Now I can adjust exactly what I want to hear at the volume I choose without feedback. Low noise but you need to make sure that you are using good quality power supplies for pedal boards etc as cheap ones can cause electrical interference. Units are well made and sturdy, battery life and range are good. My only gripe is that the power switch on the receiver is easily knocked on in transit.

Didn't work for me, but there was a good reason
Bought these for playing live. Unfortunately, I had to send them back as they simply did not work with my guitar wireless system, which was also on 2.4ghz. I couldn't get more than 2m away before it started failing and dropping out. However, when I used this with my 5.8ghz guitar system, it was fine. Unfortunately, that system is cheaper and I wouldn't want to use it live. The sounds quality seemed good. It is SUPER compact, barely felt it on me at all. Generally good product, but just could be used with another 2.4ghz rig directly next to it. I'll probably get the 5.8ghz versoin at somepoint and I'm sure that will work perfectly.

Xvive review, U4 & A58
I have owned my Xvive U4 for a couple of years now, I play in a 5 piece rock band and the whole band use these and they have been brilliant, we don't get any drop outs or loss of sound quality. I would highly recommend this product. We also use the Xvive A58 wireless for our guitars and these are great too. An all round great product line.
