Great brown sugar alternative.

I can always taste any sweetener whether it is artificial or a natural sweetener, as they always leave that bitter twang no matter what ones I have tried. I have just become diabetic so I was looking for yet another healthier alternative to sugar and came across this. I was very skeptical but going by the good reviews I decided to try it. Wow, I have actually found a alternative sugar that DOESN’T leave that aftertaste and it tastes just like Brown sugar, the grains are smoother and to my taste buds it isn’t as sweet but really it’s very close. It also smells like Brown sugar so I am amazed, but the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is the price, like other reviewers have mentioned. If you compare it to normal Brown sugar this is very expensive but then you have to look at the positive that it doesn’t give you the aftertaste. But regardless of this I will be buying this regularly, I am very pleased I found this product.

I always buy this sugar. It behaves just like real sugar and the taste isn’t bad. It will never fully replicate raw brown sugar but for Keto baking, it’s indistinguishable and it’s the closest you’ll get to brown sugar. Pros: Reasonably priced. Tastes very similar to real brown sugar. Decent size pack of 500g Behaves just like real sugar so perfect for making Keto millionaires shortbread or caramel sauces. No horrible aftertaste. Cons: I genuinely can’t think of any. This is an excellent product for the low carb/keto/diabetics among us or simply those who want to cut down on sugar.

As a diabetic you can enjoy some sweetness in you foods and drinks with this particular product. It has a great pleasing crunch when sprinkled over porridge and many foods where that sweet crunch is just the ticket, also fab sprinkled over popcorn.

I only really have sugar in coffee these days and it works well for that. On it's own it tastes a bit strange, almost sherbety but not artificial sweetener bitter after taste and when in coffee it just provides a nice sweetness without any bitterness/after taste. The only real issue with it is the price - I wouldn't mind trying it in baking but it's just too expensive for that

I am reluctant to highly recommend this great product as I want it all to myself! I have had to cut down on sugar in my diet. Consequently, I have tried many products with coffee but they all with the exception of Shuga either leave a bitter after taste or spoil the flavour of coffee. This is without a doubt the best product.

Not bad I guess. DOES NOT actually taste like brown sugar. Sorry. It tastes more like a less overtly sweet stevia or something, which is an improvement on that saccharine-slap that a lot of other sweeteners offer to be fair. I'm glad this is around but it's pricey and isn't all that convincing. It's better than other sweeteners I've tried, though.
