K&N14x25x1 HVAC Furnace Air Filter, Lasts a Lifetime, Washable, Merv 11, the Last HVAC Filter You Will Ever Buy, Breathe Safely at Home or in the Office, HVC-11425

I had been using Home Depot filter but kept on getting static pressure error from my HVAC. After some digging around a MERV 8 filter would start at .30 inch of pressure and quickly climb above .75 after a few weeks of heavy use. I decided to invest in this K&N filter because it had so many more pleats which is usually great for air flow. (more pleats = more medium = more surface to allow airflow) Adding that the filter is washable was also attractive.After installing the filter, my static pressure started at 0.50 inch with the old filter (I had just vacummed it) and dropped to 0.14. with the new one. That is a huge improvement in terms of straining my system. That is despite having a higher rating then the MERV 8 filter I had been using.Filter is much higher quality and much better built than the one purchased at HD. The filter physically has more material and surface area to allow air flow through. So better performance was expected.The only complain is the filter is smaller than the same size purchased at HD. So I did have to wedge packaging cardboard to keep it attached to the air intake.If the filter is easy to clean and can be brought back to 0.14 inch if pressure, this will have great value.

Do not think this item is going to last forever. Will need to be replaced sooner. Material is mostly paper.

Well designed . Looks to be of good quality. Have yet to clean and reuse.

I have a manometer installed across my filter rack. I can say that, in my system, it has resistance comparable to disposable filters rated between Merv 11 and 13. It's well made and easy to clean. I bought two so I can swap a clean one in while the other is drying.

I live in an apartment complex so it can get very dusty very quickly, so this has helped me save so much money on air filters.

Appears to good quality air filter for the house, can't say much yet as it was just installed, but I use K&N air filters in all my cars and they've never failed.

This product works perfectly. Made as good as you you have never seen before. This is a great product which I am very impressed by.Fifty times better than disposables. Bought two for first and second floor air returns. Five star packaging too.

I currently own three of these products for a few good reasons:1. Very convenient2. Well built3. Easy to clean and is re-usable4. Saves moneyThe price may seem steep upfront but the overall benefits is worth it.

Quality product but it sounded was like a helicopter was in my furnace/basement. Had to return.

It is doing the job very well. Very good buy.

Easily cleaned, this filter can save over $100\year if used correctly.
