I really liked these cups, but they are both already done in, after 4-5 weeks. The first one retired when I smooshed it into the portafilter in a groggy morning state - the lip cracked, did not shatter but that's all she wrote. The second developed a heat crack near the lower handle attachment - with no abuse, only hand washing, low impact and low usage.I still like them aesthetically and for their temperature performance, and I may try again, but they are a bit big for the actual coffee volume. I never did measure to see if they were really 7oz but I think they must be close to that. Super light and they feel a big top-heavy when full of coffee.This is not my first set of borosilicate glassware and I'm surprised these are so soon departed. Anybody want some spare glass saucers?

Gave as Christmas presents, and they were a hit. They feel great tacitly in use, and they look awesome when holding tea. Clarity in the material used is very clear. Right size for making an 8oz cup from tea bag. First use with black tea we poured boiling water fresh from the heat into the cup. Trial by fire kind of because I had read in one or two comments that they cracked. It passed that first test, and after a week of use, no reports of cracking. They hold heat well, the tea after several minutes still giving off steam and very hot to the lips while we were outside on the patio that cold Christmas day. Wish I had gotten a pair for myself after seeing them in use.

Very elegant and well designed. I have previous double wall glass before and this one seems stronger.I use it for my lattes and are great.
