Worked great for my dog
Worked great on my dog. She was able to quit taking apoquel. No more licking.

Great for a temporary deterrent
My little pup has been chewing on everything he could get his teeth on since he was five months, but what do you expect for a dog heading into his terrible doggy two's if he's not there already. I was a little skeptical about the product because my dog actually likes sour lemon things but I bought it because after trying any home remedy trick to get him to stop chewing and nibbling (especially at himself) I thought I'd give it a go. I gave him a small spray on his preferred leg to chew on once it finally came in. He sniffed at it, was curious, licked at it, and then immediately turned his head away. Tried to lick his other leg, I sprayed it there too and he was looking at me like "why are you doing this". He still hadn't really kicked the hand biting so I tried it out on a few of my fingers. The spray is skin safe (at least for me and my pup) but I wouldn't use it as an intended use for that. Definitely wash your hands right after because it can leave you feelin kind of sticky. The scent isn't too strong either. However, it's not a permanent solution so if you're looking for a spray that will magically make them stop chomping, it's not this but it's a close second. After a few hours the spray does stop smelling and with all the pouncing and rolling about dogs are bound to do throughout the day that spray will rub off or get covered with some other thing that will have their teeth gnawing at themselves again. My suggestion is that once you get their attention fully away from whatever you've sprayed, start playing with them or distract them with something else so they don't focus on it. Overall, I think it's pretty successful with my dog; so successful that I have to hide the bottle every time I need to use it hehe. however each pet is different. It'll work for some and it won't for others.

This did not work for my chihuahua jack russ mix puppy. Im not saying it's a bad product, it just didn't work for me.

Don’t seem to phase our dog
Didn’t work on our cavapoo. Didn’t seem to make a difference to her. Maybe works okay on other dogs so I dunno.

ABSOLUTE WIZARD JUICE. RECLAIMED MY SANITY.
Listen to me. My home was becoming a dystopian wasteland of tooth marks. Every baseboard, every rug corner, and every single slipper was a casualty of war. I sprayed this liquid exorcism from image.png on the legs of my favorite wooden furniture. The beast approached. The beast licked. The sheer, existential betrayal that washed over its furry little face belongs in a psychological thriller. It sat down, stared into the middle distance, and reevaluated every life choice leading up to that exact moment. It tastes like the physical embodiment of regret. My house is finally safe. The cycle of destruction is broken. Five stars, would let it shatter a soul again.

My cat hates it
My cat likes to sometimes chew on cables (both braided and rubber), so I use this stuff preemptively on a lot of the cables in the house and it works great. I gave it a taste myself and it's honestly not that bitter, but I suppose our sense of taste is wildly different to that of a cat. Make sure you don't accidentally get this on anything else (near food, the cat, blankets, etc.), or they'll be very upset (understandably).

Trust me it works
Our cattle dog started chewing on things in the bed of our truck. We used this Grannick's Bitter Apple spray and the chewing stopped! It clearly works lol
