A great brush! Distributes oils very well. Doesn’t pull hair. Moved to this type of brush from a Wet brush. It’s 10x better as it’s healthier for scalp and distributing healthy hair oils all the way to the ends.

Quality brush! I like that it has long and short bristles.

I got this brush as a Christmas gift for my husband who started growing out his hair. Of course I had to test it out myself..I fell in love with it and had to buy one for myself! The bore hair bristles nicely distribute hair's natural oils to the ends of the hair strands, making hair shiny and soft. The longer bristles help to easily detangle hair. The wood comb is well made and works well for a comb. Scalp massage brushes are a nice touch and very relaxing. The carrying pouch was the cherry ontop of what turned out to be a great purchase..Oh yeah, my husband really likes it too!

For some extra context - my hair is very long (butt length), extremely fine, medium density, and slightly wavy. It's very prone to frizz and split ends and it knots if you so much as breathe on it haha. I've never had a boar bristle brush before but heard they were excellent for fine hair like mine so I decided to give this one a go. I decided to go with the one with nylon pins instead of just straight-up boar because I thought the added detangling ability might suit my hair's density more, and I went for the "mens" set (lol) because I already have a headband like the one that came with the "ladies" set. I figured, it's a really good price so not a huge loss if it doesn't work for me, right? Well let me tell you, I did not expect this to be as great as it is. I've been using it for coming up to two weeks now and the condition of my hair has improved DRAMATICALLY. I detangle the ends gently with the wooden comb (yes, it's real wood!), massage my scalp a little with the palm brush, then get to work with the boar bristle brush. I thought I'd need to section my hair to get it through but it actually works just fine as long as I take my time and brush from all angles. It takes me about five minutes of brushing to feel like I'm done and I'm always amazed at how greasy my hair looks at first - all that disappears after a little while and my hair feels amazing afterwards. My scalp is also staying a lot cleaner than it ever has before, so I don't need to use dry shampoo anymore! I only have a couple of very minor issues with it, but they're ones I can live with - first of all, when I washed it for the first time I noticed a lot of bristles coming out. I even lost one of the nylon pins! I may have just been a bit too rough with it and it hasn't happened since. The only other issue is that the handle is a little bit uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time - I'd love for it to be a bit rounder instead of being so flat. Otherwise, though, it's a wonderful brush for an amazing price! It's a joy to use and I look forward to my evening brush every day now :) I hope it lasts me a very long time and I can't recommend it enough.

Great grooming set. Really nice quality materials. My only issue is that my wife wants to steal it!

My dog has weird fur that is a bit hard to manage when it gets longer. He can be tender if he has knots especially around his sensitive arounds around his armpits etc. He sat very nice while I detangled his fur. If you have a sensitive scalp this should work for you as well. I kept the other addons like the comb for myself. The comb is so nice and does not scratch my scalp like plastic ones. I actually had to order twice since amazon misdelivered (amazon's fault) the first time. Happy I decided to rebuy.
