Great flavor, but too dry and crumbly.
The flavor is great! The texture however is lacking. They’re soft enough, but they’re pretty dry and quite crumbly. A molasses cookie should hold together nicely, and be much more chewy.

Fantastic But Expensive
I really like these molasses cookies. I wanted to try them so I paid up. The cookies alone are expensive then add the extra shipping and it turns this into a one time splurge.

These molasses cookies are excellent
I loved these cookies. They were just the taste and texture I wanted with clean ingredients. I’d been buying ginger cookies. They were hard and not giving me the flavor I really wanted - molasses. These are $8 for a bag of cookies and $9 to ship. Ouch. They have to ship them all the way across the country. (They’re in CA; I’m mid-Atlantic, Appalachia.) I justified the price because the rest of my order was shipping “free” with Prime. I told myself no matter how good they were, I shouldn’t/couldn’t buy another bag. Too pricey. So I bought two more bags. The price for shipping was $10. For $5 a bag in shipping costs - now I feel like they’re affordable again. 🙂I’m happy. They were well packed. Maybe one or two came broken. They take a good long while to get too, but OMG, they are just SO worth it.
