This contoured pod will provide maximum comfort and support while relieving excess pressure on the back of the baby's head, this may help reduce the chances of "flat head". The twin pod feature can be used to co-bed twins and also for the re-positioning technique for one baby or twins. The re-positioning technique helps to ensure the infant turns his/her head from side to side and not favor only one side. Each night you can place one infant at each end of the crib and rotate each time you lay them down for naps and sleep. When the baby is ready to roll over, you can simply turn the mattress over to the smooth side. The mattress can then be used in a toddler bed also.
