Took about an hour to install. Don't bother reusing the original rear shock bolts. Buy GM #11611959 for the upper bolts. You just need these bolts for the upper as it's a welded nut on the frame. For the bottoms 2- 9/16" x 3" Grade 8 bolts, 4 washers, 2 lock washers, 2 nuts yellow zinc coated will do just fine. Definitely a superior product compared to stock and you will notice the difference in ride immediately. I couldn't believe the price for the pair. I actually bought 2 sets. One for my 2008 Silverado and one for my daughter's boy friend's 2014 Sierra. Rough Country is definitely the major player for Lift Kits & Truck Accessories. They won me over.

Been on my 08 Silverado 1500 for 8 months now. They ride great even with the 4” lift, haven’t had a single issue!

Absolutely love these work as they should stiff as hell, but they should break in a little bit as we go. I used these with the 2 inch extender and a 4 inch block under my springs gave me a total of 5 inches of lift on the rear.
