I crushed both sides of my ankle back at the end of February. I had 3 surgeries and also got Staph and Strep during the process. It's now the middle of November. I have great difficulty walking because my ankle wants to roll inward and outward. These compression socks seriously limit the movement of my ankle in the wrong direction. I wear both (set of 2) for the support. I wear one on the other ankle for pain relief. We do not know why my ankle crushed to begin with. I stepped out of bed and it shifted down and it was all over. I was in the floor. So I've tried different supports and these are by far the best. I want to thank the seller. They reached out to me about their product. It turns out I ordered the wrong size because I'm wearing the new pair now. Quit wasting your money on other compression products. They are really comfortable. I don't have any sweat from them and it's a great value.

I should have gone with Med instead of Small. They fit well, but tight. The support is great. I have a shattered ankle and I need a lot of support but I don't care to wear the boot all the time.

I don't know about "support" because my ankle is strong, but it works very well for preventing swelling. It is a bit thick for fitting in a shoe.

When I first opened the package I was sure it was a mistake and I had received a knee brace instead of an ankle/foot support. It is huge. I contacted Amazon about the mistake and had scheduled a return.....a week later I decided to try it. I have used some kind of a stretching support for about five years following a torn Achilles’ tendon and a crushed heel. Some are too tight and difficult to put on, some too bulky, some lose their support after a couple hours. This one I was sure would fall into the too bulky group. It is actually great. Easily fits with all kinds of shoes and boots, very comfortable, consistent all day support without cutting off circulation. I barely know I’m wearing it and am as close to pain free as I have been in years. I’m much more active and don’t even think about that first step anymore. Much more confident going down stairs.

I like the quality of this support and measured per the instructions provided, which said I needed a Small. It's really difficult to get on and becomes increasingly too tight thru out the day's wearing. I ordered several different styles of ankle supports and they all had different ways of measurement. I ordered mediums on the others, but just supposed this one was sized more for men and ran larger. Not so.

My husband has tried other ankle supports but they were too thick and ended up hurting more than helping. He has been wearing this (I bought a two pack to save money for when the first one needs to be replaced, he just needs one) for a few days now and he said it's really helping reduce his arthritic ankle pain. He wore it to work and while playing golf, mowing and raking over the weekend. He puts on a sock and then puts the support sleeve over the sock. He said it's comfortable to wear. As for any odor, when I first opened the package there was a slight chemical odor that faded by the end of the day when I left it in my sunroom to air out.

Too small

They do what they are designed for, they are a little tighter than I like and are such a relief to take off at the end of the day. They do keep my ankles from swelling too much.

From never knowing what these were before, i'm now over to can't get along without them.I have a lot of problems with foot and calf cramping, but wearing these has done the trick.Especially useful at night. These sleeves have a very nice texture and a thickness that lends a feeling of security and comfort.
