This portable monitor is exactly what I was looking for. It's a nice size at almost 16" so easy to work off of. I specifically wanted a portable monitor that plugged directly into my laptop so that I wouldn't have to deal with Bluetooth disconnection glitches, which I've dealt with in the past with an old monitor. This has a USB-C plug on both ends so easily connects to my MacBook. The picture quality is great and doesn't hurt or bother my eyes. I've read some reviews that complained that this monitor doesn't hold a charge. This is true. This monitor is not built with a battery of any kind to hold a charge, but must be plugged into your computer in order for it to work. Again, this is exactly what I was searching for as I didn't want to deal with yet another device to keep charged. I can pull it out and use it whenever I need to work mobile without any worries. It's perfect.

The dilemma i always had with the previous version MB169B+ was finding a laptop with 2 x USB 3.0 ports. not as easy as you think. But they always have at least one, and now one x USB Type C. Great thing about this MB16ACE model is it supports BOTH!!!! That is awesome. So it has support for both USB 3 Type C and USB Type A. Comes with 2 x USB Type C cables. It comes with a USB 3 Type C Female to USB 3 Type A Male ADAPTER. Works great. The only thing i dont like is the monitor cover. The previous version of the MB168/169B models came with a full cover that the whole monitor slides into, which doubles as the kickstand. It was nice because it really protected these delicate monitors. This new one here MBACE, has a flat, foldable piece that just lays on the screen to protect it. It snaps sort of but i like the ole sleeve much better. I have learned to live with it i am just a little more careful with the face of the monitors. This flat piece folds in a triangle to create a pseudo kickstand but it works ok. Perfect. Highly recommend this little monitor. It goes perfectly with my QuadStation Traveler laptop (google it) and i use 2 of them with my laptop. SEP 2023 - UPDATE-------------- Normally the USB 3 Type C port on your computer needs to support Video (DisplayPort) or it will not work. However, with this monitor as long as you have the DisplayLink Driver installed it WILL work. Just as it does on a regular TYPE A USB 3 port which requires DisplayLink driver. I just tested it on my laptop and the extra display came right up! See pic attached....monitor #5 is THIS monitor on a USB Type C port that does NOT have DP capability. That said, install the DisplayLink Driver and you can connect to EITHER USB 3 Type A, or USB 3 Type C (with or without DPort capability) ..as long as DisplayLink driver is installed. This monitor comes with a Type C to Type C cables, plus a Type C Female to USB 3 Type A male adapter. So it covers any USB type connection out of the box.

We have been looking for a screen to expand the screen space for our Asus laptop. This definitely fills the bill. It was easy to set up, and we are a little tech-challenged. It looks great with our laptop, and easily fits in the computer bag we have to transport our laptop. We also like that we can use it as an additional screen for our desktop, if we want to!

Screen is great and comes with a cover to protect the screen. Still getting used to the cover converting to a stand to hold the screen.

I've gotten completely dependent on having a 35" monitor and my 13" laptop monitor as real estate when working. I often have three windows viewing between them. I'm much less efficient when I'm on the road and just using that 13" monitor. So I'm really excited to bring this monitor on my next trip. I'm giving 5 stars now with fully using, but unless something goes wrong with quality, I can already tell this is what I was looking for. It's compact and light enough for me to throw in luggage and even though it's long it fits in my work pack. The main negative reviews seem to be compatibility issues. But I plugged the monitor into my Lenovo X1 ThinPad USB-C port, turned on the power and my computer immediately read the monitor and set it up to extend my desktop. Picture quality seems fine, but I'm using this for documents so I'm not too concerned. Only little things I'd fix? The cover it comes with is cool, but it's like a complicated origami to set it up as a stand. There must be an easier way. Once you get it, you get it, but it took a bit of time. Also, there is a sticker on the back that left a really gummy residue. It took me a while to get that off. Maybe it was meant to be kept on there for some reason? But I hate stickers on my stuff.

Have had for 4 months. I don't use day to day, but carry it day to day in my backpack - don't mind the extra weight for when I do need it. I have used it successfully with USB C to C and USB A to C (monitor). The cable is a thicker cable (about the thickness of many power supply type cables, but stiffer). The cable plugs right at base of monitor on side. I usually then use the cable around the back of the laptop and plug into a USB on other side (monitor to right of laptop, plugging into left side of laptop). Initially it seemed dim in a brighter outdoor setting (except for a brief moment when it got fully bright. Since then I have not noticed it being dim on 3 different laptops, so maybe it was just a hiccup or older Windows thing (win10). The cover/stand takes a little counter-intuitive folding to get correct, but the how is printed on the cover. I previously had/have a Toshiba external for years and it worked well. This is far better in terms of weight, size (17" but very thin), resolution (1920x1024) as well as overall viewability. No seperate power cord is nice. USB C is nice

I was very happy with the quality of this little monitor. I appreciate that it plugs into the computer with a single cable to provide power and video, using either USB type C, or type A through an included adapter. The screens aren't super bright and I wouldn't suggest them for outdoor use, but were acceptable for use in my workspace which is very well lit. The covers snap on to protect them during transport, and become the stands when using them. A handy feature is the ability for them to be rotated and have the display automatically adjust. I didn't expect them to work on my older computer, but they worked great through the type C and type A. I just plugged them in, and windows automatically set them up. The automatic orientation did not work until I installed the driver available from the ASUS website. That program allows all of the settings to be controlled from the computer as well. I ended up buying three of the monitors for my needs, and absolutely love them!

I ordered this monitor after returning a similar model made by Lepow. The difference in quality between the Lepow monitor and this one are like night and day. This monitor looks great, was basically plug and play, and appears durable. Don’t settle for products made by unknown brands, spend the money and buy from a reputable company with years of experience and great customer support. ***Update*** I’ve had a few months to use this monitor and I just want to add that I’m incredibly impressed with the picture and ease of use. This monitor is everything I was hoping it’d be and more. Quick and easy to connect, especially on the go. It’s a beautiful monitor, thin and light. Fits in my laptop bag, along with my 15.6 inch laptop. If you don’t need a monitor with multiple connections, a battery, and/or speakers, I highly recommend this one.

Earlier delivered than estimated. And satisfied with package the product itself. I use it for extended screen. And it's working fine both type c and a. Not try much so far. (just two days) Will buy things from Amazon if needed in future

Purchased this product for work when im working from home and on the road. Doea everything i need it for with regards to my laptop. Even great when connecting witg you phone and watching a movie on a bigger screen. The cover folds into a stand but i have had difficulty standing it up. Just put a pen in the hole and it works and you wont waste your time trying to get it to stand up

UPDATE: Después de 4 meses de uso definitivamente le dejo las 5 estrellas, desde el punto de vista de durabilidad y brillo no he tenido ningún problema, si eres una persona que constantemente se mueve a varios lugares este monitor será tu compañero, en lo personal es super cómodo para trabajar fuera de casa sobre todo si requieres un segundo monitor. 100% recomendado para trabajo en interiores, si lo buscas para jugar te recomiendo que busques otro, ya que no dará el rendimiento que uno busca, lo utilizo principalmente para programación, por lo que la orientación vertical es muy útil. - Fácil de instalar (plug&play), si lo conectas con el adaptador se requiere instalar Drive y tiene un ligero retraso comparado si lo conectas con el USB Type-C pero no afecta en lo absoluto. - Solo un cable es requerido para alimentar el monitor y transferir video. - Excelente brillo para interiores y comodidad de filtros para no cansar la vista. - Diseño ligero (literal no pesa nada) y de calidad con los detalles. - Funda para proteger la pantalla de buena calidad, la parte externa es como plástico duro. - Si instalas el drive es mucho mas fácil la navegación y configuración del monitor (se puede hacer manual pero es algo molesto solo tener dos botones)
