Do not recharge as if it does not exist
It does not recharge as if it does not exist. It worked fine for six weeks then problems began to appear in not recharging. The negative effect on the laptop is very, very bad.

Fitted perfectly and as described
Replace battery in my Vaio computer. Revitalised my old computer.

After a week of usage it couldn’t hold battery power.

Didn't work!
The replacement battery would not hold a charge.Whilst fitting the new battery, I noticed a weight difference, so checked and the original Sony battery was 337g and this replacement was significantly lighter at 201g. Maybe after a charge, and a few electrons in it, might have weighed more :)Returned.
