Is this memory fast or the C10 memory is better?.

The CAS 9 or CAS 10 rating is irrelevant, as both timing speeds are speedy; you won't notice the difference. What you MUST do is look at your MOBO's user manual to see which specific RAM CAS timing speeds it requires for the RAM you want to install. You can always find the manual in the MOBO manufacturer's web page support section. Often the MOBO manual will state a few memory manufacturer's RAM modules that were tested and 'passed' for compatibility. Next step: Use Corsair's online Memory Finder Tool to find the Corsair memory kit that's compatible with your MOBO. Go to http://www.corsair.com/en-us/memory-finder. There, you will  (1) Select System Type > Motherboard; (2) Select the MOBO's Manufacturer in the drop-down menu; (3) Select the MOBO model # in the drop down menu choices, then click on go. And voila! Your correct RAM DIMM memory kit will appear in all it's glory. It doesn't get any simpler than this. All memory manufacturers have this type of memory compatibility tool. If you have a choice in memory kits, like CAS 9 or CAS 10 for your MOBO, then CAS 9 is micro-faster, but you and your pc will NEVER know the difference. What makes RAM faster is if your MOBO is rated to support and use overclocked RAM speeds. "Faster" RAM moves more MB/s between the RAM and CPU. Again, check the MOBO manual and Corsair's memory finder to see which OC'd RAM will work. Hope this helps. I've been happy with the Corsair RAM. What are the dimensions of these modules? how can the only be 0.63 inches tall? that is about 9/16" tall or so? the pcb inside is taller than that?

These are standard configuration DDR3 without exaggerated heat spreaders - so if your requirement is for DDR3, these will fit.  I have this memory mounted under Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler on several machines without clearance issues.
