Absolutely the best case I have ever bought for my devices. I am a college student and also have always been very up to date with technology, so you can imagine how many cases I have gone through with iPads, MacBooks, etc. I currently have a MacBook Pro 2020 13’ and I love how much more thinner it is than my previous MBP 2015. However, it has got me worried because it is so sleek. Usually, I have always had a plastic case on my laptops along with a sleeve, but with this laptop, I feel like it’s such a waste with adding the extra plastic case.. making it thicker and just less comfortable to use. Plus, I have always been very careful with my devices. Therefore, I wanted something THIN, but SOLID, overall minimalistic. I paid around ~$100 for a leather case, but it was so disappointing, it was very flexible.. just didn’t hold a shape. Then, I tried another brand that was sold in Apple stores - $100, do not remember the name at the moment.. but it said it was designed for my laptop, but the case was very loose, big, and heavy.. although very beautiful. I finally gave up and settled for some $12 sleeve from Amazon. It was one of the ones with a flap and stated it was specifically for the newer models, and although it was okay for the most part, I hated how the material differed from the description (apparently it was “‘microfiber” but just gave the appearance of dirt and streaks) and the flap sometimes did not stay shut with the magnet, once my laptop slid out! Thankfully, I was on carpet.. I was just so frustrated, I did not want to return any more products.. the case I want is very simple.. I do not even want pockets.. I went back on the Apple site, and remember I saw this sleeve before. With Amazon’s policy, I figured there is nothing more to lose. I was very worried it would not fit or be very thick.. and also to be honest, I was not a fan of the color choices. Surprised to see plain black is not a choice. I was okay with the pink and ended up going with it even though it costed $20 more.. and worried it will get dirty more easily.. but wow. The packaging did not do it justice, it is until you actually open the case and put your laptop in. Amazing fit for my laptop, my laptop will not be flopping around like it happens sometimes with neoprene or not custom made cases. Plus, I was surprised to see the solid edges on the case. I mean, it is SO well fitting. It is the same width or maybe just a LITTLE taller than my Apple Pencil 2. The magnet closure is SO much better than the one I had. The inside is wonderful, completely lined with soft material. I hate the cases with a wool texture inside. No more of the old days of lugging around laptop sleeves with handles.. or bunches of zippers, or just so thick it did not fit in my backpack. I can bring it anywhere, put it on the bottom of my laptop to keep it from the table when I’m in public and not notice it! it’s just so form fitting, solid, plain! I am wondering how I will clean it in the future, but of course it is not a huge issue to hand wash. The only OTHER case I considered while I was looking are the ones made by Herschel. I had previously used their laptop case for my MBP 2015 and it also had a very accurate sizing, and soft material inside. It is a bit thicker and it is zippered. The zippers never got stuck, and that case lasted me 4 years until I gave it away. If you do not want a sleeve, I would look into this. This time, it just was not in stock and I just really wanted to try something different. I wanted to see if a thin and well fitted sleeve existed! Well here I am! Not only have I been previously curious about this brand Incase, I think I can not ask for more... just the weird pricing difference between a color haha. Yes, a bit pricey, but fully justified after I got the product.

This is hands-down the best sleeve you can get for an apple macbook. I have been using this sleeve for more than 7 years on my late 2013 macbook pro 13'' - opening and closing it multiple times each and *every day*. Quite shockingly, it still looks like new today! It is unbelievable in these days, where planned obsolescence is a thing, to have such an experience. This sleeve is worth every penny. I really hope incase will offer the same sleeve for the new macbook pros 14'' and 16''...

More plastic-y than anything like wool. Very poor quality. Sent back immediately.

I bought this item as a replacement cos the the last one (purchased elsewhere) got really dirty, and my wife loved this laptop sleeve so much. The design is really sleek and slim line making it easy to carry around, and the magnetic closure just makes the whole sleeve really clean with no bulky buttons or zips. Unfortunately what let down this great product is how the item was packed and delivered. It was not put inside any box or envelope packaging - just pasted the delivery address on the flimsy thin transparent plastic that the sleeve came in. Naturally through postal delivery, the thin plastic tore holes everywhere, making the product dirty. Also every single person who handled the delivery could see what the item is. What a disappointment.

Very nice, and fits well into my bigger bags, but for those bags for just 13 inch models, this adds too much width. I will keep it for the padding and to use when traveling with bigger work bags.
