Gorilla DBS-Lite MKII DJ Booth Stand Table Including Carry Bag & Scrims

As a full time DJ i already own the Gorilla Booth that is the bigger version of this model and it has been very effective for my needs. I have one or two venues which are incredibly tight on space and do not always set up the room the best way and that lack of space falls into my territory. So when i saw this smaller booth version, i looked at the dimensions and thought it would suit my requirements. Its provided in a transport bag with two sets of infill panels made from lycra, which are black or white, you can choose what you want to use. They are sent in a bag, but once you have used this booth once, you will have stuck the lycra panels to the inside of the booth with the prefixed velcro attached to the booth and they can be left on. There is a single shelf to sent into the stand when the sides are opened and you are talking less than a minute to set up once its out of the bag. As i do not use a DJ controller and single laptop myself at the minute, there was just enough room for a 12 channel mixer and a couple of laptops on raised swivel stands either side, very tight but workable. I will be using this booth a lot when i am working upstairs, as it is a lot lighter than the bigger version, it takes seconds to set up and once i am working with just a single laptop, there is plenty of room on the shelf. A plus note is the shelf has two well sized holes to drop cables down and plugs as well. You can buy after market themed booth covers for this model as well, hence the reason i bought it, they are reasonably priced and this item was a good price when searching online for the best deal. (Photos from first unit). Feels like a great unit and I do love the simple design, but mine looks like it’s been thrown down a flight of stairs. I’ve contacted the seller so I’ll update this review down the road. Ok, update: Seller was amazing (an actual human answered the phone after about two rings and was really on it) and sent a UPS guy to collect it at a time of my choosing, then sent me out a new one which arrived the day after. Didn’t even have to involve Amazon even though I have a Prime account. Second unit was mostly in great shape except all the brackets on the shelf were bent, one of them basically folded up! Never mind, with a pry bar they were easily straightened back out. Unit is awesome. So much smarter than my old booth. Super quick to set up and pack down (leave the fabric sheets on all the time). As everyone else says, the zip on the carry bag is tiny and flimsy and I’m gonna have to be really careful to avoid breaking it. But yeah, great seller and great booth. My only criticism is that the packaging it obviously insufficient to protect it in transit. All it needs is some polystyrene at the ends or over the corners and all the damage caused to both units I received would have been avoided. So one star deducted for packaging and flimsy zip on carry bag.

As to my Previous review. This is one amazing piece of kit. Great quality stand with bag and 2 sets of scrim black and White. This is ideal for any dj that need to get in small place's. And the effects you can get by putting a light behind it is smazing it looks so professional. I cant wait to go out and use this. Im sure it will turn a few heads. Also can be set up and taken down in less thsn a minute. Great work guys super service and quick delivery. Much appreciated I can't be any happier with this. I would Recommend this to any Dj looking for a new compact sturdy stand👍🏻😉🍻

Packs up neatly and quickly in the bag

Can't fault this booth. It is sturdy and lightweight, sets up in seconds. The only downside is in the carrybag - The straps could do with being stronger, longer and probably a little more padded, as they're not the more comfortable to use. I'd give this more of a 4.5, due to the carry case issue.

Three of the four shelf brackets were bent ( had to use pliers to straighten them up ) The rubber feet / ends keep dropping out ( superglue stopped that ) The bag won’t last long. Apart from that and very heavy ….. I love it ! By the way you have a choice of black and white side screens.
