Kill Bill Katana - The Bride's Sword

I received this item on time today. I have to admit that I had my doubts about the quality of the sword when I saw how battered and taped up the outer box was. The sword was inside wrapped up in clear plastic. The wooden stand was in three pieces, inside a smaller cardboard box. Now I admit I don't know much about katana swords, but the sword I received looks nice and has good weight. It's exactly as pictured. The biggest problem I had was with the stand. It did not assemble easily and I had to sand down the edges of both slots in order to insert the upright pieces. Once I did that, there was no problem. I have no illusions about the sword: I'm not going to challenge a horde of Yakuza assasins with it, and I'm certainly not going to do a number like Michonne on The Walking Dead and start decapitating zombies. This sword is a very nice display piece. That's exactly what I paid for. UPDATE: 5/17/2015 - Still better than I expected. This sword is still in one solid piece. Nothing's fallen off and the blade is still gleaming and has not tarnished. Excellent display piece. I've gotten a lot of compliments from people when they see it. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants The Bride's sword at a very decent price.

Its not the greatest sword you can buy, but for the price this one is the BEST. Be clear, its for display only. I wouldn't trust it to defend me in a fight with marauding ninjas or assassins. Besides, that's what a gun is for. If you're looking for a sword for your wall, table or costume this one is great. It fits well in the scabbard, and if you can ignore the "Made in China" stamped on the blade (on the other side of the dragon insignia) then its quite impressive.

For the price, its a good sword. I actually sharpened it and was able to cut through a considerable amount of fruit in my backyard XD. It doesn't come very sharpened, but most swords won't for. I sharpened it and it worked great. Nothing has broken and it works amazingly well as a display piece as well as a functional sword. it isn't made of high carbon steel, so expect a little spotting if you don't take care of it and clean it. One of my best purchases

I got this for my wife for Valentines Day because she is a huge Tarantino fan and her favorite are the kill Bill movies. She saw it and loved it. Built really well for the price. Its nice and sturdy, the blade doesn't wobble when you move it and it is also fairly sharp. Would recommend to anyone looking for the memorabilia.

Not sharp but nice display sword

This thing is freakin awesome! Love me some Kill Bill and always wanted a sword not only to display but to wield. I do have two cats so I didn’t want something sharp, lol. This one is not sharp at all, it’s just for display and light use. For the price I got it for, I was astonished. There are some blimishes on product and it constantly needs to be cleaned but it’s fun!

I liked it a Lot just like the one from the movie but a better display peice not for battle or cutting!

I love the Kill Bill movies! This is a great replica sword! The details are just like the sword in the movie. I wish it did not say made in china on the side.Overall a great display piece. It has the Hatori Hanso mark on It. I feel ready to take on The Crazy 88!
