A: This is a product for people.  I use it for dashi.  It is a good pure flake.  That said my cats love it and I have shared

A: I don't see salt/sodium as an added ingredient. Ingredients are listed as Bonito. Period. The label states that there are 50 mg per 1 cup serving (2%). Hope that helps. My cats love them but I've never personally tasted them.

A: Product of Japan.

**Q: What is the expiry period on this product?**
A: the package I received last month is Nov 8, 2017.  but I order it for my cats and they really don't care.  THEY LOVE IT!!!
