This product is outstanding! The weight is wonderful, I do not use this for cake decorating, I use it for acrylic painting. The turning mechanism is smooth and even. I have purchased a couple turntables in the past and had to weight them down to get even turning - this one is a snap. It is so sturdy that you don't need weights or anything else to hold it steady. Although it appears to be somewhat scratch resistant, I do cover it with press and seal to keep the paints from staining it. The size is perfect for my needs, I can place small items up to medium size canvasses (I have not tried larger ones) and have no problems with it turning. It is a great value for the money and looks fantastic.

The media could not be loaded. From the moment my shipment arrived I knew I was gonna love it. Now, I'm not a professional baker. I wouldn't even consider myself a baker but I will make a cake here and there for my family.I've been using the Wilton cake table for years. I think for at least 10 years or so and I still have it. Like I said I'm not a professional baker so I didn't think much about it. But I've been asked to make a wedding cake. Yup, still not a professional baker. So, I thought the one thing I need is a good cake turntable. One that stands taller (wilton is low) and spins smoothly (wilton rocks a bit but, it could be that it's old). So I found this one.When it came in it was packaged so well. I thought this is gonna be nice. It arrived in its own box in an amazon box. In its box, the table was wrapped in a plastic film and sitting in protective styrofoam on both the bottom and top. It definitely wasn't going to be damaged during transit.I waited to write this review till I used it and let me tell you...it's sooooo awesome. Its sturdy, durable, professional looking, and it spins so smoothly. It has a rubber bottom that keeps it in place and the surface is easy to clean. I feel like I got my money's worth. If you're looking for an upgrade from your white plastic Wilton cake turntable you should buy this. You won't regret it.

The media could not be loaded. Gorgeous! Spins like a dream, is heavy, and I love the skid proof bottom. Decorated 3 cakes today and it was A.Ma.Zing. Have been using my old plastic one that won't spin without you, and the difference is indescribable. Worth every penny, and it doesn't cost that many!!!
