Rotates well, nice weight, nice color, great non-slip pad on bottom. The only con is it is it could be an 1inch or 2 higher underneath to allow your hand to move it freely. As it is, the space from the turntable to the table is a bit small. It works, but could be better. I have the cast iron bottom Ateco that i 4.75 inches from work surface top turntable, which is much nicer. What I did not like on the ateco was the actual turntable itself as it was a thin piece for the turntable with 4 plugged holes that were a little rough. But it is the state of the art turntable for professionals. What I love about the Kootek is the actual turntable, moves as well, has marks for centering, and is beautiful if you choose to serve from it. I like having both turntables, sometimes you need both for an important occasion. The Kootek is a very nice turntable whether you are a professional baker/decorator or a home baker/decorator. I don't regret buying it. It is much nicer in person than I anticipated. The turntable top is stunnng. The entire table is made to provide form fit and function at its best. Not only does it turn like a dream, but it looks great while doing it. Just make it about 1-2" taller and it will be more than Perfect! I would buy it again, gift it, recommend it. It came highly recommended by a noted reviewer of baking tools. Of course the Ateco comes out the best due to its height and it has been around for years. But I must add, because of that review I looked at this one also. I purchased the Ateco, did not like the actual turntable top, but it i the best of the best. However, I am really impressed with the quality, looks, and function of this table. It works on par with my Ateco, the table spins as well. You can use this for pottery, cake decorating, painting, any crafting where you need a "spinner" to get the job done. This one is beautiful as well as serviceable.

I’ve been making do with a lazy susan on top of a can or a bowl for height, when making cakes and decorating them. This was a splurge, but it is a worthwhile one. It’s beautiful right out of the box, heavy enough to be convincing that it’s not a plastic piece of junk inside or out, and it spins so smoothly that my decorations stay steady. My piping has never looked better, and that’s thanks to the smooth motion of this thing. It’s made well, beautiful, and works perfectly. Now I look forward to making more cakes, instead of dreading the decorating part. I am so glad I bought this… some things are worth paying for! Oh, and a total bonus: it fits my cake box lid perfectly. If you have a 12 inch cake holder with a snap on cover, it may just fit this perfectly; I was much happier keeping room temp cakes and desserts on the stand than having to transfer to the cake box. I still transfer if it’s going in the fridge, for space reasons, but if it can sit out, the cake box lid snaps right on. Can’t say it will do this with all of them, but it was a pleasant surprise with mine that has come in very handy.

Bought this to replace an older, plastic turntable. I am so glad I made this purchase. This is a heavy-duty, perfectly machined aluminum turntable. It rotates perfectly, keeping the turntable flat and steady. It is a little shorter in height than I would have liked, but the durability and quality build make up for that deficiency.

Good weight and smooth when it spins. The color looks exactly as pictured. The weight makes me trust its quality and sturdiness. I think it’s definitely worth the price for its quality and smoothness that makes it easy to use.

I love this. I just upgraded from a plastic one and well, those are just terrible all together. It’s super super smooth which helps to create the perfect smooth finish on cakes. I love the lines because it helps me to perfectly line up my cake board to perfectly center it every-time. I’ve used other metal cake turntables before and they are wobbly or need to be greased every use, this one is just great and very good quality. It’s a little dirty because I’ve been using it so much! Lol

Perfect for those heavy cakes. I'm in love with this. I was hesitant to spend so much money but it is totally worth it. No more rough spinning which made it really annoying to ice my cakes on the turntables I previously owned.
