Great find but pricey
Delicious vegan foods but expensive for regular sized small cans โฆcompared to other cans, itโs not 3 for $3, or 3 for $5, or 3 for $10 and not even 3 for $20!! Itโs 3 for $30!!!!! How are vegetables expensive? Why is being vegetarian so expensive? No wonder why people canโt afford these

Always tasty!
I'm so glad I can order these here at Amazon. They used to be in my local "health" food store but now are not stocked regularly. These are original vegetarian hot dogs... I love them.

A bit pricey, but otherwise very enjoyable
I've tried a bunch of different brands of hot dog substitutes over the years that I've been able to locally find and largely had stuck to ones in the freezer section that had the least offensive texture and an acceptable taste. These, on the other hand, are simply the best tasting and texture dogs that I've had to date. Flavor profile is a sort of beef and onion, not really a hotdog flavor, but is very pleasant. The texture, while very soft (you can cut them with a plastic fork!), is notably better than the other options available to me - none of that dense/clay texture that fancier labels have. Preparation is also considerably easier - drain and eat. Heating optional. I don't need to boil them for 6 minutes from frozen, I don't need to try to fry them and have them fall apart in the pan, they didn't even stick to the plate they were microwaved on like other veggie dogs tend to do. I think my only actual complaint with the product itself is that they aren't bun length dogs and are on the stubbier finger length size which makes them a bit awkward to use. The quality seems pretty good - I'm only in my first can so I'll see how the other two play out. The price point, however is not the best. 45oz at 66 cents an ounce (at the time of the review) is pretty steep for what you're getting. Overall, I'd definitely consider getting these again.

STILL THE BEST!
Loma Linda's Big Franks are STILL THE BEST vegan hot dogs I've had in my 30 years of veg/veganism! I've tried them all, and liked a few along the way. But the vegan hot dogs of and up to 2025 still can't compete with Loma Linda. They are SO juicy and flavorful, and their mouthfeel is immensely satisfying. These are the dogs you want to serve at your next vegan-friendly cookout, believe me. I hope they never stop making these!
