Is this Slow release ?

No, it is not slow release...I use it for relief from Itch, So I need it to work fast. I does stay in my system and continues to work for 4 hours.

Do the pills work as well/quickly as the powder?

I expected it to work like energize, within 10-15 min. But started feeling tingling in my body as I was doing final stretching, about 1 hour after I took the capsules
