This definitely adds some depth to my hair and makes it look thicker and healthier. The shade is perfect and the hair strands are soft to touch and doesn't look fake. For some this could be a thin layer, but for me this is enough for my hair to blend it with nicely since i have a thin hair as well. Imagine if this will be thicker than my hair then it won't look as natural as if there's a clump of hair across my head. The halo string is in perfect adjustment although you can easily adjust it by opening the metal clamps and pulling the string according to your preference then crimping the metal close again. Without using hair pins this fit securely, but I will definitely use some if I'll be in a windy event or an occasion where there will be a lot of action that's going to happen. I've never tried using a flat iron just to check if I can style this but will update later if I do and maybe show a video.
