I had never heard of it until my sister-in-law gave me a bar for Christmas one year. I was used to using liquid face cleansers for years, and even struggled with acne in my teen years and early 20's, until I realized I was causing the acne by using "acne products" which were too harsh for my sensitive skin and actually irritating it. I didn't use this soap right away until a friend of mine told me she had read that beauty bar cleansers were actually better for your skin because most of them don't contain added chemicals that are found in liquid cleansers, so I thought I'd give this bar a try. I immediately saw a difference. It was like a god-send for my sensitive, combination-oily skin! I recently read somewhere that this bar isn't supposed to be used on the face, but that's confusing to me because that's the only body part I've been using it on and it's FANTASTIC. It lathers phenomenally, leaves my skin fresh and clean but not overly dry and it's aesthetically pleasing with its fun, translucent colors (also comes in pink and green) and it comes in a cute, fun case. My only gripe, if I were to have one, and it's actually only about the case, is that the case doesn't clasp closed. I just put a ponytail holder around it for travelling. Smells great too!
