Nice addition to my home
I just got it yesterday and am loading pictures now. I have a video I want to load but I tried both MP4 and AVI which were listed and can't get them to work...says failed to open. I emailed support but no answer yet. I want it more for video than still photos, so if I can't get videos to work, I will return it. I loaded my favorite family pictures on it and played it. It was easy to set the calendar, clock, time, etc. The remote is tiny but works well. I'm considering giving one of these for a wedding gift. I haven't tried the sound quality yet and the model I purchased does not have wifi. So far I have 32.6MB (58 photos) on a 32GB flash drive with no problem.

Great product great price picture quality is awesome
This is a life changer! Well made, holds thousands of pictures! Easy to use. Can connect directly for large downloads use an app for free for single add in pictures from the phone or you can upgrade the Frameo app to allow 100 pic download each time. We all love it! Keeps me connected to my kids I. Japan on duty and my college son used the words Fantastic! It’s great way to keep happy too, seeing your family and friends happy all day helps you count your blessings and get to share new adventures as they download current pictures that then just pop up in your frame when they download them. Amazing price too!!

Dhwazz was the best choice after doing side-by-side tests with a Frameo and a Sklight
This was a gift to a non-technical elderly family member so the most important factor in choosing this Dhwazz was I wanted to make it as easy as possible for a non-technical person to use. She has no wifi and uses a flip phone so the usb and sdd cards are the only way to load pictures. It also had to be able to withstand random power offs or unplugging without turning into a brick. So far it is doing exactly what I wanted: load photos to a usb drive, plug in the usb and start playing a slideshow. Now the family can bring her a new usb stick and all she has to do it plug it in to see the new photos. As far as the interface, the menu is a little clunky but I've only had to touch it twice. The first time to set the date/time. The second time was to tell it to use the original image size rather than stretching to fit. Once I got used to the buttons on the back, it was ok and more intuitive. For comparison, I have a Skylight (150$) and a Frameo (60$). The Skylight had the best interface and felt better built BUT basic features are hidden behind a paywall. If you want to add a caption, you must subscribe. If you want to play a video clip, you must subscribe. It also didn't have a way to adjust the picture position inside the frame so some photos were auto-cropped poorly. The Frameo is a nice unit. It plays videos, allows adding captions, allows you to adjust photo position. But it was not a good fit for my use case because, according to other reviewers, it can be bricked if you don't shut it down cleanly. If you have power outages or just prefer to unplug things when not in use then this is a consideration.

If you use a USB, make it a short stubby one
This is the second photo frame I purchased as a gift. The first one was a Nixplay, and that will spoil you for anything else. But it also costs a bloody fortune, more than twice the price of this one. (It didn't used to be that way.) I thought I would try this one, as it's much less expensive and seemed to meet the needs. It's a good photo frame, but not great. The Nixplay frame seemed smudgeless, brighter, crisper, and feels sturdier. The smudging with this unit is a bit annoying. It doesn't look like you could easily remove them with a clean cloth. See my photo as an example. I guess it's like the difference between a quality tablet vs a cheap one. Along with this frame I also purchased a USB and loaded my photos on it. The good news is that the process was easy. I just dropped the images on the USB and plugged it into the frame. If I were to do it all over again, I'd use a stubby USB. A normal size USB will be visible from the outside of the frame. (Again, see my photo.) A few confessions. This is only intended as a photo frame. I didn't try the video and music features, nor the remote. (I'll let my friend unpackage as much as possible when she gets it.) I didn't use the stand or motion detection feature. By default the setting is to stretch the photo to the frame size, which distorts the image for most of the images. Needless to say, that setting was changed right away. I didn't see a setting for fade in / fade out, which would be my preference. I'll get over it. You can set the timing of the photo changes (and I like the default three seconds.) The good news is that once you set the setting, it remembers it if you turn it off or unplug it. Would I spend double the money to get quality? Maybe for myself. But for a gift, this unit is good enough.

Caution doesn't last long (mine only 3 months)
Very disappointing. Let me be a bit clearer. The pictures are easy to upload and to view. They look good also. I purchased 2 of them so my wife and I can have pictures in our offices. Came into work today and mine was off. I didn't turn it off when I left. I tried to turn it on and it was stuck on the startup screen product name (EXAMPLE IN PICS). I did everything I was asked to do to reset it. Nothing is working. This is only month 3 with it. All it took was 3 months for one to stop working. I say if you order be aware it may not last long. Let me be a bit clearer the frame is located were nothing can hit it or any kind of liquid could get to it. It is far from any of that. Caution ⚠️ highly recommended. I don't like writing bad reviews but this is frustrating. I won't be reordering. I will find a different product.

For my 80-old mom
Not all people use wi-fi and smart phones especially when they are older, so I ordered Non-WiFi version for my mom as a gift. It comes with a remote control which I thought first it may be challenging for my 80-year old mom, but it was useful for myself to do initial settings. When she receives it all she needs to know is how to press 1 red on/off button. Setting up was very easy, I used a flush drive USB 32GB and downloaded all pictures. Once plugged in the photos were automatically shown. One thing that scared me first was that pictures were stretched so I went to settings and set up pictures to be shown at original size and it worked and no matter if pictures were taken portait or landscape they look good as black background blands with black frame. This picture frame did not come with music so I downloaded free music and added to the flush drive. When I turned it on again with already added music it automatically started to play music with photos shown. I was surprised myself that this picture frame kept me looking at photos for quite a while so I know for sure it will make my mom happy. I’d definitely recommend it for busy people who may thing of a present like this but are turned off by thinking of how much initial work it may involve. It does not. It is EASY & FAST with a flush drive.

Finally, non-WiFi
I bought this for my elderly/confused mother's apartment. It was hard to find something that has no cloud or app dependencies, but I can confirm this frame is completely stand-alone and does the job. There are some issues, and most of them have work-arounds. Detailed list below. Positives --------- * It is inexpensive and has a large screen. * Has a remote, several options for storage reading, included power supply, kickstand, and manual. * It is non wifi, so no stupid apps, tracking, cloud crud dependencies, or extra costs/complexities. * I set it to play photo slideshow as default. Tested unplugging it while running, when plugged back in, it went to main screen and after several seconds, it did start the slideshow. So it should resume after a power failure, and it is not losing its programming. * Display of photos looks really good- sharp, good color, bright. * Tested the auto on/off function, it is complicated but it does work. Negatives --------- * The scaler doesn't work properly for photos that are at or lower than 1280 wide or tall, it will squish landscape pictures vertically, regardless of setting. It does work correctly if the photo resolution is 1281 or larger wide or tall, when put in "original size" mode or "scale" mode. The "full screen" mode will never work properly unless all photos are landscape, because it will always horizontally stretch portrait photos. * It has no autodimming for night- no light sensor, no time to set for a lower brightness. But at least you can use the auto on/off feature for night. * There is no option to have it display the file name or file path/name on the screen during a slideshow. * The IR remote has very limited distance. * Construction is poor, it seems to flicker when anything is moved or touched, like it has a poor connection somewhere. * Power supply is not usb. * Seconds delay for slideshow is adjustable only to 5, 10, 15, 30 seconds, and 30 min. * Has a random mode for photos, but it is not a random playlist, meaning each time it loads, it picks randomly again from all the photos. So one photo you saw minutes ago might play again soon, others you might never see. This is pretty typical with frames, though. * User interface is laggy. * Manual has no website link. * There is no option to update firmware, so you are stuck with featureset/limitations. Neutral ------- * I didn't test videos or audio * The transition effects are not bad, but they are not great or smooth, either. * You might have issues if you try using ridiculously large photos. Do yourself a favor and resize them. Overall, it is what I was looking for. If it lasts, I will be quite satisfied/happy. It has been running for a few weeks now with no issue.

Very nice digital photo frame
This is a very nice digital photo frame for a good price. The picture quality is excellent. The mobile app is well designed and process for transferring photos to the frame is smooth and easy. The only very minor downsides are: when you boot up, it gives a warning to "never remove power suddenly from the photo frame," this gives me some concern that the device might be bricked if there is a power failure. Also, the touchscreen is slightly laggy, and the captions are not as configurable as I would like. But these are minor issues. I like this photo frame so much, I will be buying another one to give as a gift.
