Since I was already taking calcium supplements, I wanted a multi-vitamin with little calcium. This is the one: it contains only 2% of the RDA for calcium, 4% of the RDA for magnesium. I've been taking the supplement for a couple of years now. Hard to say for sure if it's making a difference in my health; I suppose I take it more for reassurance that I have my nutritional bases covered. A reviewer of a similar product made the interesting comment that the Country Life multi didn't affect the color of his urine, which led him to conclude that he was absorbing most of the vitamins and minerals. Maybe there's something to that. For the reviewer (of the similar CL product) who criticized the taste, I would ask if she took it with food. I took this pill once first thing in the morning, right before eating breakfast, and felt a bit of nausea from the taste. But normally I take it after a meal, with no ill effects.

These are incredible! I'd stop there because that's all that needs to be said, but I have been raving about these to everyone so I will rave to Amazon too! 1) Glass bottles; that speaks for itself! Their quality extends past their daily total one multivitamin and into their bottles as well. 2) I have hypothyroidism and was sluggish and I thought it was due to my prescriptions. Turns out it was because I was missing a little something in my life; This! I love it. I have too much energy throughout the day. I have never been so productive, happy, and motivated to do anything! 11 out of 10 would recommend this to even my worst enemy!

So I was out driving the other day and this complete jerk cut me off so I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him all the while my kid's crying in the back seat and my wife is yelling at me like it was my fault the guy thought he could fit his suburban in an opening that a Mini wouldn't fit through. Meanwhile I've got to take a leak bad...I mean BAD. So while I'm trying to stop my kidney's from exploding and working to convince my wife that I know I'm not on my bike and this isn't a race track all while looking for a spot, any spot where I can run into the woods and take a leak. Then just like in the movies I see a ray of light shine down through the clouds on the entrance to a small side road! I jam on the brakes, skid into the lane--just made it. Before my wife can even begin to catch her breath and begin threatening to castrate me--I threw it in park and ran behind the 1st tree I could find. Forget heroin, booze, even sex...there is nothing like taking a leak after you'd been holding it for 3 solid hours. The best part other than the relief? My urine was nearly clear--no florescent yellow or any of the other cool colors you get from most vitamins. That probably means I needed the vitamins and most of them had been absorbed and not just pissed out. I've been using them ever since!

This product is just right. It satisfies all the basic needs a multi should have and then some. I cannot take a multi with a higher milligram of B complex because it makes me fall asleep; while this may have an advantage at bedtime, I really do not take a multi at that hour. I have bought this product several times now and the only drawback is there is only 60 capsules in it for $20+change. That is a lot for only 2 months. Over a year that amounts to $120 for just one health product - ugh! Health stores need to understand that Americans cannot afford to pay that and give us a good product for less cost.

I have tried several different types of Multi-vitamins over the years as this is quite a competitive market (there's a lot to choose from as I am sure you are aware of). Personally, I like this product for several reasons- that fact that it is iron-free is preferable to me and I find that they are not an awkward shape or too large of a size. Additionally, I do not get vitamin 'burps', just like one would get with many natural supplements. The dosage requires one pill daily (which is ideal for me and for those who take other supplements) and the price point is great and reasonable compared to other competitors. If you read up about Country Life, you will come to learn that they are all natural- which again, is a plus. Try them out!

So I’m like trying to buy my dad a daily multivitamin that’s less expensive than what he’s been getting. This seem to fit the bill at 20 bucks. Boy was this a mistake! I’m sure the ingredients are fine, but the stench arises as soon as you open the bottle. It doesn’t stop until 20 minutes after you swallow the pill. They must use some low grade B vitamins because that’s what typically stinks.

I really needed a good mulit-vitamin. I have tried many other products that have 100% or more of everything under the sun, sometimes 1000% or more USDA recommendations. These other products make me feel very ill. Also, Muliti-vitamins that contain IRON usually cause nausea and digestive problems. This is the first Multi-vitamin that actually makes me feel good and have more energy. The cost is very reasonable. I am glad I discovered Country Life Daily Total One Maxi-Sorb Multi-Vitamins, Iron Free. There is also a With IRON variety but for Iron I take a different product that is for people with sensitivity.

Purchased these for my husband to try. I am giving 3 stars because he says he can’t get past the awful taste and smell. I purchased 2 bottles, but may have to return 1. He can take them on an empty stomach and not have any discomfort. The capsules are easy to swallow just give a really bad after taste.
