I love this machine. Recommended by a friend from South America who routinely makes arepas for her family. We have used this machine for arepas, pancakes, little panini snack sandwiches, brownie bites, and so much more. Anything you can think of that you can bake in a circular pan with heat on both sides can be made in this little guy. The versatility is amazing! The light tells you when it has reached the selected temperature. If you lift the lid and it cools, the light comes on to show it is reheating. The size is perfect for the two of us but also for a family of four. I have had this for 9 months now and I use it at least every week if not twice a week - it is very durable and easy to clean. I have never had anything stick but I have had cheese and other things overflow as the items cooked. That said, it is easy to remove any excess food or spills - wipes off without any difficulty using a sponge, soap and warm water. Don't use metal utensils and do be careful when lifting the lid because the handle can be hot (as the instructions caution). The best thing for me is how easily I can make a meal for everyone without heating up the entire kitchen or dirtying a pan or the stove.

I purchased this arepa toaster on Amazon and initially thought it was an excellent product. It works very well, heats evenly, and is very convenient for everyday use. Very disappointed with this Star Blue arepa maker. It is less than 4 months old and has completely stopped heating. The indicator lights turn on as if it is working, but the cooking plates do not heat up at all. I used it very little and expected it to last much longer. I do not recommend this product; it was a waste of money.” 😒🫓
