Will this work on my 2011 Mercury 90 efi outboard engine? It say the right part number, just would like to make sure.

It worked for my 2012 mercury 115 4 stroke. Just check yours first by taking it out and connecting it to a battery to see if it spins. Mine has two pumps a low and high pressure plus a float switch. Not sure about the 90.

Alot of reviews on these non oem pumps say they will not perform to oem specs is this a common problem or just a few out of say 1000 ?

I have installed several of these pumps with minimal issues. I had one I had to replace but believe the issue was caused by contaminated fuel.
