Would buy again.
I only gave 4 stars because the sole of the boot is extremely slippery on any hard surface. I'm going to the cobbler this week to see if he can add something to the bottom of the heel to keep them from sliding around. Other than that, I love the boots. I bought the extended calf size 9 and it fits perfectly.

Not sure if legit FRYE
Iโm giving this item a five star is because it is really nice but Iโm not sure if itโs legit frye boots. Not sure why anybody would say something about a chemical smell when itโs a leather smell thatโs how all real leather Frye boots smell. My other Frye boots that I purchased directly from frye and company are made in USA. These say made in China so Iโm not sure if theyโre fake or not and Frye stamp looks Odd. Still a very nice boot same fit as my others. Just air them out and they should be fine by fall weather.

Beautiful until you wear them once
I loved the simplicity of the style - however, after wearing them 3 or 4 times, the leather has stretched disproportionately (I have worn sheer socks to attempt to prevent this and donโt wear them with Jeans) and they now bag around my ankle area. I am so disappointed because this is the style I wanted and I paid nearly $400 for the boots. It certainly was not what I expected when I saw the Frye brand and price.Please note: this review is directed at the Manufacturer (Frye).

They look good and fit well but I small legs I would be careful with the fit if you have big calves
Kinda hard to get on at first at the heel but once on they feel great

These boots are gorgeous! I got the chocolate brown & I am in love! I always love Frye boots but these are my favorite.

Quality leather and fit
I own 3 pairs of Frye boots and love them! This purchase did not disappoint. These are genuine Frye boots from where it is made to the smell of the leather. When I opened up the box the leather looked dull but once I buffed them up with a dry cloth, the boots looked even better than the pic in the Amazon site. Great price for outstanding quality!
