Portable and a good sturdy fit
I am using this mic to do social media interviews and videos. Its small enough that it's not distracting and the sound is better than when I use my phone by itself. The magnet that holds it in place is strong so I feel like it's a sturdy fit.

Big step up from iRig Mic Cast for a great price
I thought the original iRig Mic Cast was a very cool way to get audio into my phone without much hassle. It did the job but since this one connects to the lightning port on my iPhone it gives much better audio quality. I honestly don't remember the exact details about the audio quality specifications or whatever on the original iRig Mic Cast but iRig Mic Cast HD is clearly a step up.And the windscreen is cute too! (and it works well)

Works well on an iPhone. Vast improvement over the built-in mic.

Don't buy
I have been using this for a few months. This sucks on Android. The software glitches and crashes all the time. Does not allow to export the files in a friendly way, and now after an update does not EVEN let me export my files so very important stuff I recorded is now lost. Do not buy this.I contacted support but they are dismissive and did not solve my issue. Just told me "yeah that does not work on your phone" So yeah I would not buy this.

Great sound and super easy to use
I needed a better microphone to record interviews and make field recordings with my iPhone. This is a 1000X improvement over the built-in iPhone microphone, and it's better sounding than some of the other add-on options I've tried, especially the Lightning connector. The magnetic clip is a really awesome idea and makes it super easy to use.

not much diff respect to iphone integrated mic
no noticeable difference on recorded sound quality between iphone micro and irig mic, would have returned it but window closedyou need to get their app and pay to get to edit the recorded sound tracksnot a plug and play mic, I am not even sure if I managed to set it properly as I did not notice much of a diff with and withoutcant recommend

Only works with super old Android phones
This product needs you to download their app on to your phone in order for it to work. The only app they provide for Android says my old Samsung Galaxy S9 is too NEW for this device and app. I believe Samsung is up to S23s now so beware. Automatic return 👎👎

Did not work at all just got static no matter which buttons were pressed, I had used on a Samsung S10e...

Très bon produit, veuillez à utiliser l'application iRig recorder pour régler le niveau d'enregistrement afin d'éviter la saturation, micro très sensible.Je l'utilise pour enregistrer les répétitions d'un groupe rock qui joue très très fort ☺️IRig permet l'exportation des enregistrements avec la vidéo où le son seul.On peut aussi exporter des extraits, couper.Sa fixation magnétique sur le téléphone est très judicieuse
