Don't go cheap when it comes to protecting your instrument. I thought my Carvin bass soft case would accommodate my new G&L-1000 but the G&L headstock was too big; I wasn't comfortable with the tight squeeze, knowing a good bump could break a tuner. This Gator is the perfect size for the G&L large headstock and it's not only sturdy but full of features. Much nicer that the Carvin case which is very good.
