even better than i expected
I am amazed how wonderful these cups are. I purchased them for my plantar fasciitis issue. My left heel hurts me if i walk or stand too long during the day. These cups are so soft and they relieve my pain. They even helped with cracked heels. I gave up on my heels long ago thinking they will never be smooth again. But here they are...after just one time of using those cups my heel became much better within hours. I was able to compare it since at first I wore the cup only on my left heel which was hurting. After I saw how much it helped with the skin cracks I started wearing the cups on both of my heels. Although my right foot doesn't hurt, it is still benefiting from the skin healing. Really awesome product. I am happy with the purchase.

Perfect + Cool Alternate Use
First day of wear: Surprisingly comfortable, though I'm feeling some intermittent ever-so-faint stings, causing me to be concerned that it may pinch my foot, cut off circulation slightly and cause discomfort over time. I am a women's US size 10.5. Maybe it will stretch over time and avoid the circulation issue? Will update as daily experience offers more useful information. Fourth day of wear: Perfect. No issues. Bonus is that I often wear shoes that are too large for me due to a big toe bunion. These offer traction that keep my feet from sliding inside my shoes. Changing from 4 to 5 stars.

It works!!! No pain
As far as pain relieving, I can say enough. You have to wear it and walk with to understand. It is unbelievable. No doubts. I wore the first pair, one day, with socks, no slipping, very bad odor. Next day with out socks, with sandals, very slippy, still very bad odor. So, as far as breathable, not sure. I give 4 stars just because of the odor.

Protected my heels yet can slip after an hour or so
I have been trying to find products to protect my heels as they are very bony and either cut through my shoes or my shoes leave my heels destroyed. I used these while back country skiing and they worked really well to protect my heels. They add a little extra cushion to my heels as well. I like that they are breathable but after a while my heel covers would slip and end up closer to my toes and not protecting my heels any more. I wear these with my new blunderstones now to protect my heels while the leather breaks in and they are great!

Easy to Wear + Effective!
My heel was hurting. Even after the podiatrist and two rounds of physical therapy, it still hurt. I was limping around the house. But then these came in the mail. I put them on, and, for me, it was instantly easier to walk. Plus, they can be easily worn in shoes, as they are very thin yet really did help me. The texture is a thin and gel-like, similar to what most heel shoe-inserts are made of. It's comfortable. If I had to come up with any drawback, it would be that sometimes, when barefoot, the heel pad "crawls" up to the ankle, but this doesn't happen in shoes. Also, the gel will sometimes leave residue on dry skin, but it's easily removable and not a problem. Overall, I'm very pleased. These things did allow me to walk on my bad heel! Plus, they come in a multipack, so I have multiple pairs!!! I'm more than happy with this purchase--five stars from me!

Makes Plantar Fasciitis Manageable
I have awful plantar fasciitis in in my left foot, and over the past few months it has gotten to the point where every step from the moment I get out of bed forward feels like I’m walking on Legos. I’ve tried just about every brace, band, support, and cream with mixed results. I do stretches to help it and I am under the care of a podiatrist. Sexy shoes are a distant memory. Even with all of the interventions, I still feel like I am walking on a Lego floor. Enter these bad boys. Do they cure my PF? No, of course not. They do, however, allow me to walk comfortably with minimal to no pain. They’re latex free, which is great for someone like me with allergies (I mention this because it’s frustrating to search reviews for that info and not be able to find it. You’re welcome, fellow latex avoiders). They’re made of silicone, which means they will stretch out over time. No big deal, get another from the pack.

HUGE disappointment
So many of the reviews for this product spoke to the pain relief aspect, especially related to plantar fasciitis. I don't understand this at ALL, because from my experience, these heel cups are very ineffective. I have horrible PF, have had for about six months now. I've bought so many new shoes and new inserts and have been to therapy and a worthless foot doctor who just recommended stretching. DUH. Anyway, I'm pretty desperate and saw these, thought I'd try them out. Man, they do NOTHING at all for my pain. They're this thick, jelly-like wrap, almost like the heel of a sock, but not made of fabric. They fit snugly around the heel of the foot. I've tried them above the sock and under the sock and they don't do a thing for me. There's no support, no sponginess to soften heel strike, they peel off my foot in bed and don't stay on. In short, they don't provide any relief at all, so unfortunately, they're going back. I will say this though--if a person had rough, cracked heels, you could put a thin coating of petroleum jelly or "Working Hands" on the heel, then put this heel cup over that and it might help provide a snug cover to keep the lotion localized to do its job. So, for skin roughness and repair, these might be useful, but for relief of the bad PF, forget it.

good so far
good so far. they come with a powder on the outside to prevent sticking to themselves and so you can easily slide them on your foot. they fit snug and were easy enough to put on. im not sure how you're supposed to wear them but i put them under my sock to wear with docs. they were comfy and i didn't get any blisters from the boots but i would say make sure you have a shoe that is at least a size bigger than normal because the gel cushion slips a little and makes your foot move forward. i only wore them to work and i work at a desk so i dont minimal walking but the times that k did walk around, i could feel my foot sliding up and it started to make my toes hurt. not sure if they'll hold up for additional wears based on other reviews but they're okay so far aside from the foot moving forward a lot in the shoe.

Smelly and covered with powdery residue
These arrived poorly packaged and covered with a powdery residue which has been hard to get rid of. They also smell awful.
