Review: Super fun transforming Merliah mermaid doll! - I got this for my daughter who was in love with the movie. I was initially skeptical that the bulky surfboard wouldn't prove to be workable when she was in mermaid form. But to my delight, while somewhat bulky, the design of the toy makes the transformation quick and easy and the tail really does look good. When on her surfboard, there's a bit of tail fabric that hangs down, but it doesn't seem to negatively impact the fun or overall impression, at least for my daughter. From my 8-yr-old daughter: "She's really fun to play with and she's an awesome surfer. I think it's really cool that there's a surfboard on the back of her tail that you can transform."
Review: Great Toy - My daughters favorite toy. She plays with all the time and has had it awhile now. I saw some had written the leg had broke easy, but my daughter has not had that happen and she is constently putting tail off and on and putting her on the surfboard. I only wish there was a Kylie doll made in the same manner so she could play with them together- she is always asking for one : )

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this float**
A: No it doesn't float.  The underside of the board is a fabric mermaid tail the Barbie fits in.  Maybe the board would float without Barbie on it.

**Q: How do you keep the tail from falling when a "mermaid"**
A: My daughter hasn't had a problem with the tail falling off. My only suggestion is to make sure the feet are pointed so they go all the way into the fin. That way the doll can be completely in the tail. Hopefully this helps!
