More than it seems on paper
The media could not be loaded. This board is awesome! I love the graphics, plenty of grip tape, big wheels, and plenty of torque for an old vet. Just be sure to tighten the trucks before riding. It carves and turns like a small board. Brakes are maybe the worse thing of this board. They only seem to catch when you're at slow speeds and flat. I like the ability to raise the front wheels w/ the stumping pad on the small ones. This one is for cruising not tricks of any kind. Doesn't seem to hold the charge while unplugged and standing by. Be sure to charge overnight for next day riding. The remote is generic and cheap feeling, but it works very well. 3 power modes, battery level indicator, and reverse. The board is not TSA approved. Meaning you can't detach the battery pack w/out a tool. The board rides better now that I've serviced the wheel bearings. Can't waite to upgrade them. It seems to crash after it hits 60% battery, but it can be pushed like a normal board. I wish it had dual hub motors and stronger battery. I'm 180lbs and for simple commuting, it's pretty cool. Not to fast and can easily be used by new/novice riders.

Highly Recommend- fun for anyone’s skill level.
So far, this thing is great! Im 37 and was looking for something I could cruise around on with my wife and her Go Trax scooter. This thing is a ton of fun, well built and has plenty of features. My wife, who was hesitant with the idea of me getting this for fear of hurting myself actually tried it out and had a blast. The 4 different speed modes make it easy for everyone to enjoy it. Im also impressed with the braking system. Definitely comes in handy because this thing can go fast with the 2 top speed modes. The range so far is very impressive. We went for a couple of cruises around town, close to 8 miles and still had 1/4 battery left. We’ll see how well the battery does as time goes on.Lastly I’m impressed with how well it rolls over bumps and cracks in the path. I don’t ever feel like I’m going to get tossed off.

Battery Breaks after around 2 month of use (used only 3 times)
About a year ago, I purchased this as a Bday gift for my gf.I would say It was fun at first, but like the title says, the battery starts having issues after 3 uses span out of 3 months.Remote and board disconnect every 5 min, top speed is now also maybe only 20% of what it used to be.Did not mind writing this review until my friends started shopping for boards as well, we most likely will have to buy a new one, a big shame really since the design and texture of the board is great.HOWEVER, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE, just spend 100$ extra and get yourself a quality one, for sure worth it.If there is any sort of quality control, please mail me any sort of battery pack to replace or be willing to let me ship the board back and send me a replacement. I will write another customer review if the sellers reach out to me, otherwise, one star and I would say do not buy.

Great board if you're new to the e-Sk8 scene and won't break the bank
I got this board when it was selling for $400 so any price reduction from that is added value. Background: I love board sports and love snowboarding and weigh about 175 pounds. I had little to no experience with skateboarding prior to this purchase. I started out with a budget of $500 and had to spend it here because it was a gift card. Please note that with a $500 budget, you can get a pretty decent board from various manufacturers outside of Amazon.Nonetheless, if you are going to purchase a starter board through Amazon, I'd reduce that budget to about $350-$400 or less since you will probably need accessories also (lighting and safety gear). I recommend this because if you find out you like the hobby, you will inevitably invest in a mid-range ($600-$1000) one or better. This is a great intro board exactly for seeing if this is something you like. Unfortunately, the description given by the merchant doesn't tell you much so I'll give you the skinny right here. The board leaves much to be desired as all boards in the lower price range do. The key things you need to know are:Board: Stiff board with good carving capability. You can get some foot fatigue without thick soles on your shoes from the vibrations from the road. I'd stick to smooth pavement with this board if your riding for 30 mins or more.Trucks: Nothing special in my opinion but does the job. You'll need to check them every ride because the bushings come loose depending on your weight and how hard you ride it. I would not take this fast downhill until you're comfortable on it because the board wobbles at higher speeds.Wheels: Measures to about 90MM wheels and one hub cover (not a whole wheel, only surrounds the hub motor). They grip the pavement very nicely.Battery: Not a smart battery so you'll have to monitor the charging and discharge it if you don't plan to use it for 6 months or more. It'll last you about 8 miles (all flat terrain) on their fastest setting. It starts to struggle up hills due to battery lag (which is common). To summarize, this is a really fun board to ride around with the kids or to go on a cruise around the neighborhood or park and that's about it. You will know if you want to go deeper into the hobby since this board gives a pretty solid experience. If you are sure you like e-boarding and want a good board, I would not recommend this one. It almost looks like a knockoff but was pleasantly surprised by it.

BUY THIS LONGBOARD!!!!!!!
When I first got the longboard, I didn't think it could go 20mph. Instead, I hit 21mph using my phone's speedometer. I also thought it wouldn't do very good uphill, but...this thing can fly uphill with EASE!!!! What's also nice is that the remote doesn't feel cheap. Only thing is, it doesn't make very sharp turns easily. Besides that, AMAZING ELECTRIC LONGBOARD TO BUY!
