Whoever "designed" this item had no understanding of human anatomy. unless ur shin bones are flat plates (mine are not) these will not fit you, and certainly will not hold you securely. I strongly recommend that you do not purchase these.

I love the idea, but when trying them on, they bite into my ankle too much and the pain is not worth the action.

There is no way to strap these tight enough to avoid the curved part coming in contact with the top of the foot under load. So all your weight ends up on the foot bones and it's agony.The only reason I'm keeping it is because I'll get them modified to strap around my upper calf and hang by the knees.
