Amazing brush for our cats and dogs. Our long haired Shepherd- Malamute mix loves to be brushed with the wire side. This glides through his thick coarse fur very smoothly. Even when he gets a shorter haircut for the summer months the brush works great to grab out all the loose fur and debris. His coat attracts sand, twigs, and leaves like a broom. We use the brush side for our cats who love to rub against it and it pulls out all the loose hairs they have too. Even our hound mix short hair dog loved to be brushed with the brush. This brush not only works well for our pets but also for my husband who is starting to have arthritic hands and loves the soft grip of this brush.It is meaty enough that he has a secure hold when he brushes our dogs. He didn't realize how much his hand was adversely affected by our older hard handle brush until he tried this one. The size of the handle is perfect for a man's large hand or a women's medium size hand. The soft grip cushions your finger bones and neither of us have had hand cramping anymore since using this soft grip handled pet brush. Perfect for someone with arthritis. Definitely a keeper all the way around. Will order some for family members too..

Great dog brush

My cats love being combed out with this brush! I like the padded handle and the spaced apart comb pins because it makes it easy to remove the fur. and the added brush on the back makes it easy to remove fur and my cats coat. Highly recommend you consider purchasing one.

First off, if I could give this item half stars I probably would give it 4 & 1/2. It seems very sturdy, has good build quality, when new feels really nice in your hand and overall seems to be a solid brush. But since I am not really feeling that it is a full 5 stars I had to give it 4. I have been following the instructions on using the bristle brush side first and then the pin brush side. There seems to be a difference in the look of the coat on my Havanese (small dog) and in my opinion it is to the better. My dog is not fully liking this brush but then again to be fair he is not too keen on any brush. He does put up with it and is getting better and better with this brush day by day, witch is surprising since with most he just puts up with for a certain amount of time and that's it. But with this one it seems to be growing on him. The handle of the brush is large, a good thing for me since I have large hands. The handle has a forming silicone gel that to begin with feels grate but after you get dog hair on it, it's very hard to clean off unless washing it with water or other liquid. Now I like having a dry handle when I brush my dog so washing it halfway through is not really an option since just about any and everything stick to the silicone and it is worse wet. Plus drying it with a towel usually leaves lint on the handle so it sort of needs to air dry. This is the main drawback to the brush... But. On the other hand the silicone forms very nicely to your hand. My mother has arthritic hands and she commented on this brush feeling comfortable so it does have really good use regarding the silicone handle. Now if there were just a good easy way to clean it rapidly without wetting it! Then this brush might just be close to perfect. Overall I am satisfied with this brush, I am going to keep using it and I am happy with my purchase. To give some positive criticism... I am not a big fan of the small chrome accents I would have just preferred them gray or black personally. A small and large size offered would be nice even a small, medium and large? I DO like the hole in the end of the handle so for those that wish to hang the brush up can do so easily. Now just come up with a good way to clean the handle fast without wetting it and having to wait for it to dry and I will gladly buy more and tell all my friends about your products.

Both sides of the brush work great and do their respective jobs. Handle is comfortable. Well made.

Good quality. Soft handle. Brush side is very firm like boar bristles & too harsh for a dog's face. Pin side is just about right for brushing out my German Shepherds, including my long-haired GSD/Border Collie mix.

In the beginning, this was an excellent pet grooming tool but it seems to be deteriorating at a rapid rate two years into my purchase? See photo. Our Golden Doodle loves being groomed with this combo tool but now the "pins" side cushioning material is aging and the pins are breaking off like crazy - 15+ missing now (all from the center three rows)? I have several of the GoPets tools and keep them stored in my garage and/or in the pool cabinet _ both areas are sheltered from weather. I read that their products have a Lifetime Satisfaction Warranty so I am hoping that they help me out here. If so, products are worth the extra cost and deserve a FIVE STAR rating. If not, I'll be shopping their competitors in the future. These are the most comfortable ones I've found to date - my wife loves the cushioned handles and they are wearing like a champion. No complaints there.

I have tried many pin brushes to remove old fur from my Newfies, and thus far this pin brush seems to work best. The pins really grab the fur that needs to be removed, without causing any noticeable annoyance to the dogs. One of the biggest problems I've had with other pin brushes is that the pins collapse into the supporting surface (or fall out), but thus far the pins in this brush have held up. The seller offers a lifetime guarantee on this product, and time will tell if I need to invoke the guarantee. (Stay tuned for future updates to this review.) My only negative comment on this brush is in regards to the gel-pack grip - I would prefer a non-deformable plastic grip. The price is high (compared to other pin brushes), but if it keeps performing as it has thus far (and the "lifetime guarantee" is indeed valid), then this brush is well worth the money. Update on Sept. 29, 2019: After using this brush for 6 months on two Newfies (during their heavy shedding season), the pin brush never gave up, until the handle broke. Gorilla glue solved that problem. Amazingly, during that time not one single pin collapsed into the pin support cushion. In my previous experience with other pin brushes I have gone through 3 brushes in the same period of time - so this brush is indeed well worth the money.

I got this brush hoping that our Cockapoo would tolerate it. After an unhappy first experience at the groomers as a puppy, having previously been fine being brushed, she became totally brush phobic. We've tried many types over the years with not much luck but she seems reasonably happy with this one - hooray! It's good to start with the bristle side on her tummy which seems to be particularly enjoyable so that gets her in the right frame of mind for the other side of the brush which deals with the proper brushing. The pin side wouldn't be as effective as a slicker brush (our pooch hates them still but maybe one day) at getting through lugs but used daily it's certainly keeping her coat tidy - we do keep her coat reasonably short for a Cockapoo though. Other reviews talk about the gel handle; it wasn't a selling point for me, it's unnecessary but it doesn't bother me either way!

Meine 3 Maine Coon Katzen haben die Bürste mit sehr großem Interesse gleich in ihr Herz geschlossen. Mein Kater drehte sich so gar gleich freiwillig auf den Rücken, so daß ich den Bauch auch problemlos kämmen konnte. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Meistens macht er im Bauchbereich einen Rückzieher. Aber das er den Bauch gleich freiwillig anbot, war mir neu. Liegt wohl an der Bürste und muß wohl extrem angenehm sein. Das Kämmen ist natürlich gegen die Knotenbildung gerade im Bauch- und Axelbereich extrem wichtig und so bin ich top zufrieden. Die Bürste ist robust, groß und besitzt einen weichen Griff mit Memoriebettung. Sie liegt gut in der Hand und man hat ruck zuck alle Tiere schnell durchgekämmt. Unterwolle bleibt in der Bürste hängen, die ich mit einem grobzinkigen Kamm schnell entferne. Meine andere etwas kämmscheue Katze lässt sich nun auch intensiver und vorallen an den Seiten ausgiebiger kämmen. Bei anderen Kämmen war sie für sich schnell wieder fertig. Bei der Bürste stehen die Maine Coons förmlich an, um gekämmt zu werden.

I have a miniature poodle who needs to be brushed daily, I have over a dozen different brushes, however this is the only one that is gentle enough to use daily without causing him brush burn. It is also strong enough to remove all sorts of debris and pull out developing matts before they become a problem. I highly recommend this brush. It does an excellent job and it is my most important step in grooming him every single day.

I have adopted a retired hearing dog. He is a Lhasa Apso and has long hair on his head, ears and tail. The spiky side of the brush is ideal for detangling and cleaning out dried mud. The softer bristle side is lovely for his tummy and legs, maybe his moustache if he lets me. Yes, I am very pleased with this brush. The handle is soft making grooming more comfortable.

The brush is great, I have a dog with long hair that blows coat, it really gets the under layer of fur out.
