Since the strap feeds through both spring bars and behind the watch, the one-piece design provides better security than two-piece straps, ensuring your watch will remain attached to your wrist even if one spring bar breaks or pops loose--not the case with two-piece straps or metal bracelets. The nylon strap material is durable, light weight, pliable, easily washable and quick drying, making it the ideal choice for use in water and in any situation where comfort, light weight and durability are paramount. At 1.3mm thick, the NS1 is slightly thinner than the 1.5mm thickness common for this style strap, making it less bulky and more pliable so it conforms better to the wrist and is more comfortable to wear. A standard 280mm (11 inches) long, with 13 adjustment holes, the NS1 fits wrists from 6 inches to 9 inches. Excess length can be folded over and tucked back through the keeper rings so it's available for extending the strap to wear over a wetsuit or jacket sleeve. In addition, the 2-ring design allows the buckle and keeper rings to be positioned on the side of the wrist or under the wrist, according to personal preference.
