I was looking for bowls to serve gumbo over rice in. I had ordered them in the 22-23 oz., but they actually only held about 16 oz of food. I was thrilled when I found these larger ones. They would be great for big bowls of pasta, chili, etc. They are so pretty; they're great for serving dishes or bowls for serving chips, nuts, dips, etc. in. They did fine in the microwave and dishwasher. They are sturdy and they stack well.
