31314 Red High Temperature RTV Silicone Gasket Maker and Sealant - 3 oz.

J-B Weld makes a couple of Room Temperature Vulcanization silicone products. I needed to reattach some rubber bumpers to the bottom of the cast iron grill on my gas cooktop. RTV The standard Silicone would not survive the heat, this product, BTW it is not clear, it is red. It is working perfectly and is not impacted at all by the heat. It remains flexible after it sets. It is very durabile. The curing time is in the range of a few hours. Highly recommended. On a related point, if the rubber bumpers on the bottom of your stove grills are gone and the grills are scratching the surface, you can buy replacements and use a product like this to cement them into place.

Good for exhaust system

I used this product to adhere new feet to my Wolf Gas Stove Top Grates. Nothing else that I tried worked. This has been the perfect solution for me. Dries quickly, low odor, dries clear, easy to use. Great value as well.

Used to replace an SV’s gasket gone bad - clear instructions and good technique stopped my leak. Still have loads left but been about a week and no fault. Ensure you buy the heat resistant version if you’re using it on engine parts.

Bought this to fix the inner and outer glass of my electric oven door. Been looking for one at the local hardware stores but didn’t find one. Purchased this since it’s mentioned for glass and oven doors and suitable for high temp applications. Worked great and baked a few cakes since - all good. Just has to take note that it takes about 24 hours to complete heal.
