These freezer door keys are just the ticket to lost keys. They are made out of metal instead of plastic like some of the original keys. They fit perfectly! Just make sure that you have the correct key pattern for your lock! I think they have three different patterns out.

I chose this metal key set over the plastic ones after the plastic one that came with my new freezer broke. I doubt much can break these! When you have little ones around (whether it's your children or grandchildren) it is always best to have the freezer locked up for safety and peace of mind. I like it that they came in a set of two so that if the regular set of keys ever got lost we'd still have the emergency spare key available. Besides the price was better for two keys versus buying just one!

We have a smaller chest freezer (from my grandparents who bought it maybe the 1980s) and use it to stock up on proteins and some snack items. My kids love to just slam the door "shut" or they don't care and just shove things inside hoping the door will close. One day, in the summer, we found the freezer was open for 4 days. it stunk in the basement and we lost everything. The freezer has had 2 more times where it was left open. thankfully, those time we have caught it sooner. I decided to give this key a try after the last time it happened.Sure enough, it FITS!! I was surprised the kid pops out too. Now I have a freezer that can be locked and we wont lose any more food. awesome!

We had lost the key to our freezer and could not find a key at any hardware store. I was excited to find them on Amazon. They were perfect and fit as stated. We were able to open the freezer. I am so glad I found the key on Amazon.

We literally just received these keys within the past 15 minutes of writing this review. Somehow the key to our upright Whirlpool freezer (model WZF56R16DW04 for those using the search feature) disappeared, which had always hung on the side of our freezer for quick use. We lock it not due to having experienced twice over the years the door being left ajar inadvertently overnight and wiping out the contents. The mystery, or operator error, caused us angst. These keys both worked perfectly! And our model was not listed on the sales page. We just rolled the dice and we came up winners. On a side note, to buy a single OEM key elsewhere with shipping would have cost us x3 the amount we paid for these.

We have a neighbor ransacking our food supply from time to time, and love to keep our dry foods & frozen items in our large freezer. I got tired of having to borrow the key each time I wanted to get into it, so I bought these extra two keys to put on our key chains. The are good quality, and don't stick out like a sore thumb as opposed to the plastic type when it comes to putting it on the key chain. Good stuff. ~Matt B

I bought a kenmore freezer, Model 253.22042410 . in 2017. I had been having issues with the freezer sealing, and was using the lock to keep it from opening due to the poor seal ( I have since replaced the gasket, and this issue seems to have resoved) The cheap plastic key broke. This one fit perfectly, and should last forever. so very happy with this purchase.

My dad has dementia and I had bought a freezer off of a friend but she didn't have the key. My dad was eating frozen pizzas out of the freezer without cooking them. So having a key so he doesn't hurt himself eating stuff he shouldn't is a Life Saver
