Don't start the franchise with these movies.
Don't start this franchise by watching these movies, don't watch these movies if you are still younger, don't watch these movies if you care about fan-service, don't watch these movies if you don't understand cultural differences between your native country and japan. Not to sound big brain but quite honestly most poor reviews sound like something I would have said back when i was a kid, not recommended for younger audiences.

Great Animation, Great stories
The 3 Kizumonogatari are my favorites of the Monogatari series, as they have a nicer resolution, animation, audio, and overall execution of OVA's. I definitely suggest watching all three. I watched the threee Kizumonogatari before the series because its set before the anime series, but was released very late as a story from the author and then animated later than the anime, as I understand it as well. They explain Araragi's character development and his relationship with Himekawa.

Tiddies and Edge
Really, there isn't much to this anime. It's worth a watch, thus it's two stars, not one. I absolutely love vampire genre films-- but I don't want my vampires to be reduced to agro-boob-swords with more time devoted to jiggle scenes than psychological thrill. I'd rate this 2.5 if the Ayakashi factor was higher. Take it or leave it. It's really a waste of beautiful style.

Loved this one. I wish the fights were a bit longer though.

A must-have
You’ve made it this far. This great story we love so much. Even if you can’t convince another to watch all of the anime, these movies are enough to intrigue a skeptic
