I exercise which watching video on an ipad with headphones. Given the combination of the max volume of an ipad and a set of headphones with a very long cord, my sound level was difficult to hear over the exercise machine noise. With this USB chargeable headphone amplifier in the line between the headphones and the ipad, I can get excellent sound well over the surrounding background noise with level to spare. This product comes in a strong metal case not some cheap plastic garbage. Its on/off/volume knob is also metal, as I said well designed and built. In all the time I’ve had it I’ve only had to recharge it twice as its seems to have great battery life. It comes with a short approx 4 inch cord to go from the amplifier to the source and has as its output a 1/8 in standard jack. It also comes with a charging cord to mate with the amplifier and a USB end to plug into any standard USB wall charger. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m betting I can also use it on my professional audio portable wireless headsets for use during my professional video productions as sometimes it gets noisy backstage for our crew members and the audio sets could use some extra boost. Because these are so small they can fit in a cameraman’s shirt pocket or real pants pocket and given its metal sitting on it or dropping it wont smash like cheaper plastic products.

Good battery life. Works fine . Wear on connectors after repeated 3.5 mm removal.

I was getting pretty frustrated trying to watch movies on my tablet while on a plane. The noise of the engines was drowning out the sound in my headphones. Of course, sitting in the area with the engines outside the window doesn't help much. I bought this amp and have used it a couple of times on trips and it has made a huge difference. The battery lasts at least 4 hours. I say at least because I haven't run out the battery on a trip yet but have spent 4 hours watching movies on the tablet without a recharge, but the battery is supposed to last 12-15 hours.You will notice some degradation in the sound quality, but you get use to it pretty quickly and it really isn't bad. In fact, it's better than I was expecting. It's a no-brainer to use and it's small enough to easily handle while sitting in your seat.I would recommend this to anyone who travels on a plane for vacations/business/etc.

Using this w/ Roland V-Drums (TD-17 module) and this really helps my drums to drive my headphones and sound loud and great. If there is any added noise from the amplifier, I don’t notice it. 2000 mAh battery lasts forever (verified this by taking board out of solid aluminum chassis (w aluminum side panels - no plastic!). Highly recommended !. I did knock off one star because the amp doesn’t provide a completely flat response - seems like highs are a tad emphasized , nothing that can’t be fixed Witb a knob .Also. It’s a shame the company has branded this nice chassis so incredibly boring, looking like so generic . Even a tiny font substitution on the top or bottom side of the chassis would be an improvement and with just a little effort, this could be made to appear much more high end. Still, great littleAmp.

I needed an inline audio amplifier to boost line out for an external speaker on my game caller, and this amplifier does the job nicely! It allows me to not only amplify the external speaker, but to balance the sound between the internal and external speaker. It has its own rechargeable battery, and the battery life is more than sufficient for my purposes.

I purchased this amp on August 1st. It worked great until it suddenly didn't. At 2.5 months the audio dropped during a meeting. Now the volume knob intermittently cuts the audio signal on or off randomly. You can see it in the attached video. Notice the red led flickering on or off. The amp was only used at work a few times a day to boost video meeting audio and has been treated gently. It has a strong metallic case, but the electronics must be poorly or cheaply manufactured to fail after only 8-10 weeks of light usage.

I got this to try to amplify the sound coming out of my Victrola Record player to Bluetooth. This did not work well. It does amplify, but it so faint. The sound is louder without using this amplifier, so I assume this best used with headphones and minor things.

I used with an AUX in on a car a recently acquired. Game changer. I've used with my IEMs but this kicked ass

Llego bien empacado y en excelentes condiciones físicas y de operación, además de traer sus accesorios, lo conecte a un walkman sony y a unos audífonos audiotechnica m50x y me encantó como amplificó el sonido, lo bueno es q el walkman tiene para ecualizar las frecuencias y eso es genial, pero lo conecte vía bluetooh a mi iPhone 13 y se pasó un sonido molesto, yo creo q amplificó la señal que emite el bluetooh, y eso hace molesta la escucha de la música, además el sonido quedó muy plano por el hecho de no tener ecualizador en el iPhone, por lo que no recomiendo se use más que conectados por medio de cable, ya que vía bluetooh se metió un sonido nada agradable, pero funciona bastante bien, recomiendo la compra de este aparato.

I have had this item for 5 months now: solid construction, compact, easy to use, no buzzing or noise, and the unit retains its charge for a long time even when it has not been used for a while. I highly recommend this product!

Works Perfectly. I do not see much need to buy expensive amps when this exists —other than for one reason that I will cover shortly.Power Delivery:I got the 300ohm version and I still think the power delivery is absolutely insane. My headphones have a sensitivity of about 93dB/mW and I eq them which requires -20dB of preamp gain and I still never turn it much past 50% on the dial (I set the switch on the back to H).Furthermore, my moondrop chu II's have some pretty great THD and it can drive them to the point of distortion.Noise Floor:If you use this with less sensitive drivers, you are not likely to notice the noise but if your using it with more sensitive drivers like some KZ iems then you are likely to be able to hear the noise floor. I believe that is the only shortcoming of this product.Although there is a fix: you can buy a cable equipped with a volume scroller/knob (even here on Amazon) and use it to reduce the overall level (which includes the noise) and increase the level from the amp. I think this only works with a static noise floor; I've not tried with anything else.Battery Life:It's amazing. I've probably only charged it like 3 or 4 times from the 3 or so months I've been using it (I use it for like maybe 8 hours a week). I only let the battery run out only once because I was genuinely thinking the battery couldn't die; the other times, I just charged it because I felt bad.Conclusion:For my use case this is a 5 star product but this may vary (because of the noise thing) so I'll give it 4 stars.
