A great e-bike at a great price=biking to work without the sweat
At first I was hesitant because I didn't see any reviews for this bike. I rely on reading reviews for every Amazon purchase I make, and typically don't buy things that don't have reviews. I researched this company and their other bikes, and also found some reviews in German that I translated. I took a chance, and am very glad I did. I wanted to repay the Amazon community by writing a review for this bike.Pros:Very fast (easily cruise 20mph using the throttle or pedal assist on a flat surface)Has a throttle if you don't want to pedal.Different levels of pedal assist.Easy to ride, very sturdy/solid build.Has a built-in back wheel lock with key. It also has a battery lock with separate key.Has built in front and rear lights that are wired to the battery.Display is simple (shows speed, battery power left, miles, pedal assist level, and battery power being used).Commute to work on a bike without arriving a sweaty mess.Cons:Very heavy (don't plan on carrying it up stairs)Instructions/manual not the greatestThe throttle is plastic (I don't have a problem with it, but I wish it was a stronger material)It will probably be difficult to find a child seat that will work with this bike.Honestly, these are issues I expected, and were not deal-breakers for me.Overall:I have now used this bike to commute to work three times (12 miles round trip) in the four days I have owned it. The ride involves several significant hills with 150 feet of elevation change. The trip takes 20 minutes one-way, which means I am averaging about 18 mph. On an average uphill, I can easily maintain a 12-15mph speed. On the downhills, I can get to 25-30+mph. The electric assist stops giving power at about 20mph. On my driveway, which has a significant slope, it drops to 5mph and I have to pedal. This driveway is incredibly steep and it's a point of honor for anyone who can bike/run/walk to the top without having to stop. On the non-electric road bike I own, I'm 50/50 on making it to the top without having to get off and walk. The best thing is that I arrive to work without sweating or being out of breath.Battery:I haven't drained the battery completely, but I have gotten 30 miles out of using most of the battery. This was using it on the highest setting (6/6 assist level and sometimes peddling and sometimes using the throttle). On this setting, once you start moving the pedals, the bike takes off. To maintain speed, the pedals merely need to be moving (very minimal effort) or you can just hold down the throttle. I am 5'10'' 170lbs, and usually have a backpack with 10-15 extra pounds of stuff. On a lower assist level, I could see easily getting 50 miles. The battery is removable, and there is a key you can use to lock it to the bike. I just leave it locked and charge the battery while it is on the bike. The goal was to find a bike that could quickly get me to work without arriving as a puddle of sweat. This bike does that. I can wear work clothes (pants and a collared shirt) and not be winded or sweaty when I arrive. I work on a 2nd floor, and have to take it in the elevator to get it into my office. I can easily charge it in my office. The ride:The riding position is very comfortable. The seat is slightly firm. The ride itself is very smooth. The shifting is smooth, and I feel very stable, even when going 30+mph. The disc brakes on the front and back will stop you fast when needed. With so much of the weight in the back because of the battery, I think it would be hard to have the bike send you over the front handlebars. However, I engage the back break first and then the front brake when I need to.The display:Easy to read and navigate. Other things you can see are "time on bike" and "trip distance/time." It also has a backlight that you can turn on and off by pressing and holding the "+" button.Other things:The bike took me about 1.5 hours to assemble after delivery. Most of the bike is put together. I would put my bike skill level at a 6/10. The diagrams and instructions aren't terrible, but weren't great. The hardest part was adjusting the front disc breaks. What finally helped was to loosen the display and twist it over so that I could put the bike upside down without hurting the display (I also used a blanket to cushion the handle bars). Once I had it upside down, I could spin the front wheel while I adjusted the front break. I also had to adjust the mud guards because they were rubbing against the wheels (there is very little distance between the wheel and the mud guards). The derailleur guard was pressed against the derailleur (most likely from shipping), and was easy to bend back. This happened to another bike I ordered, so I'm guessing this is a common thing that happens during shipping. The instructions say that there are "L" and "R" markers on the pedals, but I could not find them. I was able to figure out which was which based on the diagram in the manual. There is also a "walk assist" feature where if you hold down the "-" button, it will travel at 3.5mph. This would be good for if someone has to push it up a hill for some reason. This feature, and the built in bell (which is really nice, small, and in a convenient spot) are not mentioned in the listing. Another thing I didn't see anywhere was that there is a on/off switch on the bottom of battery.Verdict: I will use this to commute to work whenever I can. It's fun, fast, and I I can wear my work clothes and not sweat. I don't plan on riding it in the rain because rain is really hard on all bikes, and biking in the rain is no fun.

My husband is overwhelmed with quality and performance. Will use for recreational purposes and possible short trips to store a few miles away...Wonderful safety features...Check out maker's site. Not difficult to assemble with tools included. Arrived at earlier date promised.

Great all around bicycle!
Ever since I heard about electric assist bikes I wanted to get one, finally I saved up and bought this one. It’s great, it’s my main mode of transportation. I had an accident a week after I got it and damaged my wheel, and the guys there At Leon Cycle were very helpful and got my bike back and running in no time, even during the pandemic. I’ve put on over seven hundred miles so far and I’ve gone on a few rides of sixty miles with battery to spare when I got home, It’s all in how you budget the battery. I like the hybrid style, most my riding is paved roads, but occasionally I’ll run into some gravel roads and it handles them with no problem. The built in bell is handy for warning people that I’m approaching. The front shocks handle any bump in the road, and the suspension seat post helps made it a very smooth ride. The only complaint I have is the rear light on the battery, I wish it had a blinking function instead of a constant on, with the suspension seat post and luggage rack there’s not much room to attach an extra light to the seat post.
