This form of aluminium is perfectly safe. Is this true?** A: Our deodorants (sprays, roll-ons and crystal sticks) contain potassium alum which is not the same as aluminium chlorohydrate which is found in many other brands of anti-perspirants/deodorants. Alum is a type of chemical compound which is a salt of aluminium, and is a naturally mined mineral salt, which has a long history of safe use as a deodorant ingredient. It’s a roll-on… you need to run it under water to get it working, but it’s amazing. It doesn’t have a fragrance, it doesn’t leave white marks or sweat marks on clothes, it lasts for hours until you have your next shower, and it gives you absolutely very dry underarms completely even on a 30plus degree day … I also put it under my bosom and it prevents chaffing and sweating there. It’s a 100% natural product so good for the body. Depending on how much you use the “block”, you can get a long time out of one product so excellent value for money too. The trick I have found to get the best performance is to shower at night and apply this whilst your underarms are still wet. Also make sure to be really cleansing the underarms well to be removing bacteria buildup. If you want to be squeaky clean, you can use an antibacterial cleanser as a second cleanse after your regular shower gel. What I like is that there is no fragrance here to be mingling with moisture, that's always what I hated about conventional deodorants or even natural cream or roll on deos. It applies like nothing, feels like nothing on the skin (no stickiness or product buildup) and you will just smell like nothing. It will last you ages, I think my last one took 10 months to go through and it was the travel size - how impressive is that! Do you want to be buying a can of deo every few weeks (and chucking that packaging) or buy one that lasts months on end? Unbeatable value for money. Plus the plastic free option is just fantastic, you can pop it in a little dish in your bathroom and it will allow it to dry after use.
