Anti Slip Eyeglass Nose Pads for Glasses, with Soft Air Bag Super Sticky 3M Adhesive Silicone Nose pad 2.0MM thickness-20mm Large Glasses Grips for Sunglasses Eyewear 10 Pairs

I had ordered a new pair of glasses with plastic frames and larger lenses. Because I am used to wearing metal frames for years (with built in screw-in nose pads), I didn't realize the plastic ones come without that feature, and the glasses sits so low on my nose, and making the glasses unusable. These air bag nose pads from SMARTTOP were easy to install, and was thick enough to correctly adjust the glasses back to the proper height to sit on the bridge of my nose. They are comfortable to boot with the air pad style cushion, and easy to install (peel and stick - done in less than 5 seconds). Further, they help secure the glasses, they don't slip at all. The cut was a perfect fit to the area on the nose bridge of the frames. They come in three different sizes which is good, as i'm sure everyone has different needs. I bought these for fit, but the comfort is a definite plus, more comfortable than regular nose pads for sure. I would definitely recommend these.

I purchased the SMARTTOP Upgraded Eyeglasses Silicone Nose Pads (10 Pairs, 2mm, Clear) about a month ago to fix the fit of my plastic-framed reading glasses, which kept slipping down my nose during family activities with my 10- and 11-year-old nephew and son, like Wii gaming with our Eanetf sensor bar. As someone who values practical solutions (think HOOBRO bathroom shelf and Gildan boxer briefs), I needed a discreet, comfortable way to adjust my glasses for daily use and light outdoor tasks. After using three pairs over four weeks, here’s my detailed take on their performance, including pros, cons, and tips for other glasses wearers. How I Used It These nose pads are 2mm thick, made of soft silicone with an air chamber design (one hole on each side for cushioning), and feature 3M adhesive for sticking to full-frame glasses, sunglasses, or reading spectacles. Each pair (0.78”L x 0.31”W x 0.12”H) comes individually packed in a paper case. I applied them to my plastic-framed reading glasses (1.25x magnification, 52mm lens width) with a low nose bridge, following instructions to clean the frame with rubbing alcohol for better adhesion. I used them for reading, working on my laptop, and short walks in 60-70°F weather, replacing pads every 10-12 days due to slight adhesive wear. I stored extras in the provided case alongside my TheraBreath rinse in our bathroom. Pros Excellent Comfort: The soft silicone and air chamber design (with one hole per side) feel cushioned and reduce pressure on my nose bridge, preventing red marks after 3-4 hours of wear, as Amazon reviewers praised for sensitive skin. They’re softer than my GMS Optical pads. Effective Anti-Slip: The 2mm thickness lifts my glasses just enough to align the lenses properly, stopping slippage during sweaty walks or active Wii Sports sessions, aligning with Amazon feedback on grip even with sweat. Easy Application: Peel-and-stick installation took 10 seconds per pad after cleaning with alcohol wipes, fitting perfectly on my frame’s nose area, as noted on Hoobro’s site for quick setup. No trimming was needed. Discreet Look: The clear silicone blends with my black frames, making them nearly invisible from a distance, unlike bulkier 3.5mm pads, per an Amazon review favoring clear pads for aesthetics. Good Value: At $8-$10 for 10 pairs, they’re cheaper than Setex Gecko Grip ($12 for 5 pairs) and last 10-14 days each, offering great bang for the buck, as a Walmart reviewer noted for budget-friendly pads. Cons Adhesive Wear in Heat: After 10-12 days, the 3M adhesive started to “bleed” slightly in 70°F humid weather, leaving a sticky residue on my frames, as an Amazon reviewer warned about hot climates. It took 5 minutes to clean with alcohol swabs. Residue on Removal: Removing worn pads left gummy adhesive on my frames, requiring alcohol and a cloth to clean, echoing an Amazon review about a “nightmare” cleanup. It didn’t damage my glasses but was tedious. Not Ideal for Oily Skin: My nose’s natural oils weakened adhesion by day 10, causing slight sliding, similar to an Amazon review noting issues with oily noses. I had to reapply sooner than the recommended 3 months. Small Size Limits Fit: The 0.31” width was too narrow for my husband’s wider sunglasses bridge, limiting versatility, as an Amazon reviewer mentioned about sizing issues for larger frames. Comparisons Compared to SURMAP 2mm Air Chamber Pads ($9 for 10 pairs), SMARTTOP’s one-hole design is softer but has messier adhesive, per Amazon. Setex Gecko Grip 1mm Pads ($12 for 5 pairs) use microstructured fibers for better grip but are pricier and thinner, per Amazon reviews. My GMS Optical 1.3mm Butterfly Pads ($10 for 5 pairs) are less cushioned but stick longer (3 weeks), per Walmart. The HOOBRO shelf organizes my bathroom, but these pads directly improve my daily comfort, unlike the Extolife filter’s maintenance role. OPUGIT 2mm Pads ($10 for 10 pairs) are similar but lack the one-hole air chamber, per Amazon. These SMARTTOP pads excel for comfort and affordability but need careful adhesive management. Tips for Buyers Clean Thoroughly: Wipe the frame’s nose area with rubbing alcohol and let it dry for 30 seconds before applying to maximize adhesion, as Amazon’s usage tips suggest. Avoid touching the adhesive with oily fingers. Use Alcohol Swabs for Removal: Remove old pads with alcohol swabs and a paper towel to clean residue without smearing, addressing Amazon’s cleanup complaints. Goo-Gone works for stubborn goo but avoid lenses. Replace Every 2 Weeks in Heat: In humid or hot weather (70°F+), plan to replace pads every 10-14 days to avoid adhesive bleed, per an Amazon review from Texas summers. Test Fit First: Check if the 0.31” width suits your frame’s nose bridge; wider frames may need 3.5mm pads like Frienda’s, per Amazon. Apply one pair to test before committing. Who Should Buy This? The SMARTTOP Upgraded 2mm Silicone Nose Pads are ideal for glasses wearers with low nose bridges or plastic frames needing a 2mm lift for better fit and comfort, especially for reading or light activities. They’re great for budget-conscious users seeking cushioned, discreet pads but not for oily skin, hot climates, or wide frames. For longer-lasting adhesion, try Setex Gecko Grip, per Amazon. Overall, these nose pads have been a game-changer for keeping my reading glasses in place and comfortable, especially during family gaming nights. They’re soft and effective, though the adhesive requires maintenance in humid weather. I’ll likely buy the 2.5mm version for my sunglasses next! I was so glad that I found this product. It works well with my eye glasses and it is very comfortable and easy to install. After 3.5 months (may not last that long if in hot weather), the adhesive side sort of getting melted down little bit so the pad won’t stay on the same position. I did expect this and I can just replace it with a new pair of nose pad. I like the way that every pair of nose pad are individually packed (neat and convenient).

First the good: I picked these up to add height to my frames that have a bridge that is a bit wide for my nose. I ordered the 2mm (thickness) pads and they were perfect. These nose pads are really good for the level of comfort they provide. Lightweight, easy to apply (no cutting required), they just feel good. They also don't discolor right away from the oils on your skin. Now here is the bad: The glue on these pads only hold up for about 2 months, and it's a bit of a task to remove the pads. They adhere by what appears to be a strip of tape of some sort, that prefers to stay behind no matter how carefully you try to pull the pad and glue off in one go. I use some goo gone and qtips to clean off the remaining glue residue, as it will get on your lenses if you just try to wipe it away with a wet cloth/paper towels, and it's tough getting it off the lenses short of just washing them entirely with soap and water. Also, the glue does not hold up to a hot, Florida summer day. The glue will melt, and run onto your face. First hand experience here. The pads will also start to float around from where they were originally placed. These might last longer, but my skin is oily, and that seems to play a role in the effectiveness of the glue's adhesion, otherwise these are great nose pads. I will purchase them again when needed.

I bought these and some cheaper smaller ones. These are really a bit too large for my glasses but they work the best. They adhere and stay stuck through washings under hot water and dish soap. The dreaded nose divots are minimized--the others I tried left deep red marks. I got these mainly because the new frames I bought are really too wide for the bridge of my nose-did not notice until lenses were added. The pads are not too noticeable --but I can see they are there. Do you know how much I hate to wear geeky nose pads? I will definitely buy more though--too bad you get so few for the price. I will say that you have be careful when sticking them on--to avoid oily hands I have taken to wearing nitrile gloves when applying them

This gets extremely stuck to the glasses, which makes it difficult to remove and replace. It also has made my skin break out. I am an esthetician, and therefore know how to take care of the skin, and this causes inflammation and breakouts on the area that it touches the skin.

These work well on both wire frames and plastic frames. My wire frame nose pads are much smaller than these new silicone stick-on pads, yet after attaching, I could easily (carefully) trim the silicone pads with a small pair of sharp sewing scissors so the silicone pads don't show at all! No more constantly pushing up my glasses! I had noticed that I was pushing them up every few minutes during a recent zoom meeting. Now hardly at all. I had tried everything else, e.g. tightening the screws. I love all my frames but I have a narrow-ish face, so these made a big difference.

I've only had them on for a few days, so far so good. Applying them was a little difficult to get it exactly where you want it because they're so small and the adhesive is pretty strong. So it took to few minutes to get them where I wanted them, but still ended up being a little uneven from each other. I mainly got them because my glasses were rubbing on my skin and would cause my skin to break out. Even washing my face regularly and spraying my glasses wasn't working. Now I have these and wipe the parts that touch my face with alcohol a few times a day and it seems to be working. You can definitely see them and they aren't the most flattering but I don't care too much about that, just wanted my skin to clear up. As for removal, I have no experience except once I put them on I knew they were on and didn't want to attempt to move them. Will update later.
