This shampoo smells AMAZING. My old salon used this shampoo and I'm happy I purchased it. It cleans my hair very well and always smells like I just got my hair done at the salon. It also works wonders protecting the highlights I paid good money for. Even after an intense workout after the gym I can still smell the shampoo.

Smells amazing; however, I found the shampoo to be a bit watery and the conditioner doesn’t seem to make a difference after applying. Maybe they changed the formula? Pretty good stuff, if nothing else, it smells great!

We have tried them all! My son has blonde hair that turns nearly white in the summer. We didn't know anything about "purple shampoo" but it was getting dull PLUS we have well water. If there is no salt in the water softener, his hair ends up orange. My father in law is in his mid-70's and has a full head of hair. It is a beautiful white but had a little yellow tint towards the ends, Surprisingly it made a huge difference in how good it looked made it look less than perfect. He stated using this shampoo and I can say this- I am picky and I know it- it looked FABULOUS.Once I found out such a thing existed I began my quest. I have purchased every shampoo designed for blond, gray, or white hair. I have purchased the most expensive designer brands which I bought first of course assuming the higher the price -the better the product. WRONG! Their is an OTC brand that really focuses on blondes in drug stores and grocery stores- NO CHANGE...I mean absolutely no color change at all. I was able to find this brand on line which a stylist at a resort made me aware of on Amazon.!!!The stylist explained why it works. If you are interested look up a color wheel on-line. Find purple and what it is directly across from it on the color wheel-yellow So it offsets brassiness.If your hair is really brassy you should go to your stylist for a toner first.BUYER BEWARE- BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST ABSOLUTELY- do NOT use it every day. OR You may end up with purple hair. Two to 3 times per week is good.

The shampoo was like water. It also was a very faint smell to the normal product. It was almost like water was added to a few tablespoons of shampoo. Very disappointing and also did not lather. The conditioner was chalky and oily. I have bought these products in a salon and what was sent was completely different then previous purchases in salon.

As others have said, the shampoo is now diluted and watery. Plus the wonderful smell is almost gone. I purchased this because I just loved the smell and would have people tell me my hair smelled good. The original shampoo lathered well and you didn't have to use much.After shampooing with this new bottle of Scruples, you cannot even smell the fragrance in my hair. It seems like they took their vats and cut them in half with water. Thus the 3 star review. I will be looking for another brand that smells good. This new version is not worth the money.

I was introduced to this product by my hairdresser many years ago. Until this day, I still use it. Love what it does for my hair.The shampoo and conditioner are top of the line for me. I recommend highly.

If you want a gentle product for your hair with great lather, this is it. Nornally it is only sold in salons and I had to drive all over Dallas to get it. Why do that when you can order on line! Smells good and easy on color treated or fine hair.
