However the ZZ plant is the best house plant ever. It requires almost no care and will grow in light areas as well as dimmer areas. **Q: How to water the plants** A: Water once the soil is completely dry. In a 4" pot once every 2 weeks. **Q: Hi, Are the leaves variegated ? Thanks** A: No this plant here is all green. Not variegated. They are small but a nice healthy plant. **Q: Will this plant do well under a grow light?** A: I don't know if it grows under grow lights. It doesn't require much light and can be in a room far from a window. Best plant ever, needs little watering and attention. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I don't know what to put here. . .But I think I want to name her Isley *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2022* What can I say about this plant? When I had read about it, it had said it "thrived on neglect". I figured, I should at least be able to handle neglecting a plant, and boy have I, and now little Isley is big and beautiful, and might need to be repotted. She's my succulent that doesn't look like a succulent, rarely watered but never thirsty, enjoys sunlight without particularly demanding it. . .and if NASA is to be believed, is really good at handling toxins. Hence the name, if any comic geeks are reading this.So yeah, Isley and her kind make excellent gifts, even to those who have not the proverbial green thumb (or rather the black thumb of death that some seem to have instead), and are low-key just great plants all around. I was going to put her in a Groot's head planter but. . .she's already outgrown it. Good for her, though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A proper house warming gift *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2021* My friend just moved cross country and I wanted to send her a houseplant as a house warming gift. Due to her just having moved, she mistakenly provided me with the wrong street number. Thankfully, the amazon delivery person somehow put this together and delivered it to the correct address! The plant arrived healthy and good looking. Zz plant is great for any houseplant collection as it is a sturdy hearty plant that is adaptable and patient with owner neglect. It is doing so well it's new home! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Little Plant *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2021* I took a chance with buying this plant online because I couldn't find a ZZ plant anywhere in stores, and I was surprised with how well it shipped! I even didn't see it on the doorstep for a whole day or two, and when I opened it, it was doing well. I know zz plants are pretty hardy, so maybe a different plant would not do so well. I am a satisfied customer, and my little plant is doing great! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/170383880-zz-plant-zamioculcas-zamiifolia-4-from-california-tropicals](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/170383880-zz-plant-zamioculcas-zamiifolia-4-from-california-tropicals) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
